本课的教学内容主要是学习方位词以及学习用一般疑问句来寻找物品。学生在第一单元已学习了关于动物的话题: Choosing a pet,学习了宠物单词a dog, a cat, a bird, a rabbit, a hamster, a turtle以及四个代词this, that, these, those。本节课通过呈现语境，通过旧知识引出新知识，在语境中学会新单词、新句型。通过游戏训练和小组合作的形式进行知识的巩固运用。在Chapter 2 Part A中，学习了以下句型：Where is the cat? It is… Where are the cats? They are…学生容易把方位词和单复数句型混淆。此外，Is it…?Are they…?的发音需要读升调，且Is it…需要连读，对学生来说都有一定难度。因此，区分一般疑问句句型的单复数和Is it…?Are they…?的发音是本节课的难点，需要教师在教学中设计多种游戏和活动，创设情境，提供机会给孩子们操练句型，帮助他们学会正确表述流畅，突破难点。

一年级处于小学低段，有着好玩、好奇、好胜的年龄特点，学生的注意力基本属于无意注意比较多，在课堂中要注重设置情景让学生融入课堂，利用歌曲和不同方式的问答环节及有趣的游戏吸引学生的注意力，激发他们学习英语的兴趣和热情，并逐步形成学习英语的良好习惯。本班的孩子英语学习兴趣比较浓厚，比较乐于开口说英语，喜欢表演。因此我设计了游戏、双人组、小组合作的活动，建立情景，让他们在实际交际中运用、巩固语言知识。本班孩子在集体朗读方面，会存在着音量过小的问题，本节课需要多提醒注意。

1、通过思维导图引导孩子们回忆Part A & B 的内容，复习“Where is…? It is… Where are…? They are…”的句型。

2、通过组织形式多样的互动活动，例如TPR，游戏，在情境中进行两人的对话交流，小组完成“hide and seek”的活动，让学生在参与活动中深化对语言知识的理解和运用，培养学生的语言综合运用能力，从而达提高课堂教学效率。

以邀请孩子们到我家做客，帮助老师找到调皮的宠物为主线，通过整合网络资源，设计丰富多彩的活动和游戏呈现并巩固方位词及Is it…? Are they…?

的句型，让孩子们在不知不觉的愉悦氛围中完成学习任务。以方位介词On/in/under歌曲引入，创设“到教师家做客，帮助寻找动物的”情境，以思维导图的形式复习旧知识,引出新知识，通过TPR和游戏的形式，引导孩子们用新句型猜测宠物们的位置。通过一些机械操练、游戏让学生们能熟练地掌握句型。最后通过小组活动“h”运用所学句型进行对话练习。
