【教学设计说明】

一、单元教学任务分析：

5A M4模块的学习主题为The natural world，涉及Water, Wind, Fire三个单元话题，均是学生日常生活中经常会接触到的自然现象。这三个话题与学生的生活密不可分，都是学生非常感兴趣的话题。

Unit 1 Water以水为主线，引导学生学习用英语描述泡茶的基本步骤以及大自然中有关水的相关语言知识，如，词汇first, next, then, finally, boil, pour等，句型What’s next?

Would you like some? It tastes great.等。本单元要求通过不同场景的呈现与转换，帮助学生理解水在自然界中的重要作用。同时，通过Say and act，Read a story等栏目学习提供学生运用所学语言的场景，了解更多水的知识，培养学生的英语阅读能力。此外，结合学生自己的生活感受，用Make a rainbow的方式来体会大自然的神奇和美妙。

三、学生情况分析:

经过四年多的学习，五年级的学生应该已经掌握并积累了一定数量的词汇与一些重要的、常见的语法与时态，初步具备了一定的英语技能，愿意与同学交流与分享英语学习成果，也养成了较好的英语学习习惯，比如大胆开口的习惯、善于倾听的习惯、用英语来表达自己切身感受的习惯等。但在教学中也要考虑到个别差异，需要教师在教学过程中进行积极有效的调控和引导，尽量让每一位学生都参与到学习中来。

四、第一课时教学目标

1. 在语境中了解并掌握顺序类副词first, next, then, finally，并能用这些词表达做事的步骤；

2. 学习表示泡茶步骤的动词及相关词组的用法，掌握单词boil, tea, pour, drink，掌握词组pour…into…的发音、含义并正确使用；

3. 拓展学习茶具类单词kettle, teapot, cup，能正确朗读、理解词义；

4．通过学习，掌握泡茶的生活技能，初步了解中国的茶文化和英式下午茶的相关知识，感受不同的茶文化，体会中外文化差异。

五、第一课时重点、难点

重点：在语境中了解并掌握顺序类副词first, next, then, finally, 并能用这些词表达做事的步骤。

难点：

1.顺序类副词在实际表达中的正确使用。

2. pour…into与put…in用法的区别。

六、第一课时设计思路

1、经过认真深入地分析教材，我将5AM4U1（P47-50）的教学内容划分成了4个课时（见上表）。第一课时的教学内容是表示顺序的4个单词first, next, then, finally。这四个单词分别在以前不同内容的学习中出现过，如：5AM1U2中We look left first, then look right…; Finally, he walks from the bus stop to Rainbow Primary School;在4A的教学中出现过next to。因此，这4个单词从发音、认读上来说，不算生词。但从未作为重点的教学内容，以做事的4个步骤的形式出现过。因此本课在设计时，充分突出了这4个单词表示顺序的用法。

2、这4个核心单词的教学，是依托于Look and say的对话和Ask and answer的巩固练习的。这两部分的内容都是make tea. 因此，我为本课时确定了教学的主题：Tea time。除了重点教学课本上关于泡茶步骤的单词和句型外，还拓展了茶文化的相关知识，如：茶的种类、茶具、广式早茶、英式下午茶等。在拓展的同时，继续紧扣重点内容的教学，将中国茶文化中品茶的4个步骤及英式下午茶的礼仪和first/ next/ then/ finally这4个单词的教学结合起来，使语言知识的教学和文化的渗透融合在一起。通过听、说、读、写和做一做、尝一尝等多维的练习形式，强化这节课的重点难点。

七、第一课时教学过程

通过对话练习，运用各种茶的种类名称，进行句型的替换操练，引入Tea time的情景。

引出kettle和boil，并以语段的形式解释boil，让学生逐步习惯于translate in English 图文并茂介绍teapot,让学生感受中国茶文化中茶具的魅力。

通过替换练习，强化词组的用法。

用动作强调这两个词组的区别。
