学生情况分析: 五年级学生经历了四年多的英语学习，已经初步养成了一定的、良好的学习习惯，绝大多数学生掌握并积累了一定数量的词汇与一些重要的、常见的语法与时态，初步具备了一定的英语听、说、读、写技能。无论是城镇学生还是农村学生，都愿意与同学交流与分享英语学习成果，用英语来表达所学与所思。

但是，由于学生所处的学习环境不同，家长的重视程度不一，学生之间也存在着一定的学习差距；而且，现行教材的大容量和高密度，也在无形中加大了学生之间的学习距离。

在学习本单元之前，学生已对自然景物这一概念有了涉猎，学生对这一内容比较感兴趣。前四册教材涉及的话题内容较宽泛、单词和句型也较分散, 5A第四模块首次集中呈现水、风、火这三大自然景物，首次学习连接副词的学习和运用。

模块教学任务分析: 5AM4 的学习主题The natural world。这个模块涉及到的内容均与自然景物有关。学习内容包括：表示基本步骤的顺序类副词、有关制茶喝茶的相关动词、描述动作状态的副词以及一些与水、风、火等自然景物相关的词汇等。

本模块的句型与时态，主要是复习和巩固一般现在时、现在进行时、祈使句（含肯定与否定）以及情态动词can 的表达方式；在此基础上，着重于情态动词must（含各类句式）的学习与使用，能在语境中体会must 和can 在表达（语气与意义）上的相似与不同。

本模块的学习内容有“水”、“风”和“火”，均与人类生活息息相关。第一单元，以“水”为主线，引导学生学习运用顺序类副词来合理描述泡茶步骤、水滴的生命轮回以及母亲河“长江”的相关知识，帮助学生体验“水是生命之源”；第二单元，关注于“风”的传奇，通过风的变化以及所能做的事情，进一步感受大千世界气候的多样以及风的奇妙；在此过程中，能初步了解副词的构词方式，在区分副词和形容词的基础上进行合理运用；第三单元，则将学习的视角延伸到了“火”这一话题，通过相关的防火须知与故事阅读来感受火的两重特性，在防火、救火、用火等系列情景中学习相关语言知识。

总之，通过对大自然的关注，尤其是对大千世界中水、风、火的初步涉猎与学习，逐步培养学生学会观察周遭世界，感受自然景象，在言语合理表达的同时进一步感受大自然、了解大自然、热爱大自然。

单元教学任务分析:

通过本单元学习，引导学生学***自然中有关水的相关语言知识以及泡茶的基本步骤介绍，通过不同场景的呈现与转换，帮助学生理解水在自然界中的重要地位。涉及到的重要词汇有first, next, then, finally, boil, pour等；重要句型包括What’s next? Would you like some?

It tastes great.等。

本单元着重通过泡茶过程来感受与运用合理的顺序表达，通过Say and act栏目提及的有关长江的话题，在感受其起源以及流经的区域的同时，进一步运用新学的顺序表达，感受身边的事物；通过Read a story 栏目，通过一滴水在自然界中的变化过程，帮助学生感受水对人类和动植物的重要性的同时，提高学生的英语阅读能力；通过Make a rainbow栏目，通过学生的手工制作来感受水的神奇、体会自然之美。

1、各学习项目分析

Look and learn: 核心学习板块。主要进行词汇学习，重点单词包括first, next, then, finally, tea, boil, pour, drink等。

Look and say: 核心学习板块。主要进行句型学习，重点句型包括First /Next /Then /Finally…等表示顺序的副词表达，让学生初步了解茶艺文化的同时，了解泡茶过程，学会合理表达。

Ask and answer: 语言活动或练习板块。在问答中初步运用Look and say中的核心句型，进一步熟练掌握泡茶顺序，初步感受饮茶文化。

Say and act: 语言活动或练习板块。通过情景运用，感受母亲河The Yangtze River 的流经区域，在感受其起源以及流经的区域的过程中进一步学习与运用顺序类副词表达，储备一定的生活经验，了解中国传统。

Read a story: 语言活动或练习板块。通过一段小水滴的旅行记，感受一滴水的变化过程，在奇妙的自然景象中感受水的重要性，初具一定的生活常识。

Make a rainbow: 语言活动或练习板块。借助学科整合，通过手工制作rainbow的过程进一步运用新学，体会自然之美。

Learn the sounds: 语音学习板块。通过语音学习，感受字母或字母组合ch, g, j, sh, s的发音，进一步树立音素概念，做到发音准确、到位，辨形认读。

1）能学习和掌握单元核心词汇，如：first, next, then, finally, tea, boil, pour, drink等，做到音、形、义的统一。

2）能运用顺序类副词First / Next /Then / Finally…进行合理描述相关过程；同时，能运用What’s next? Would you like some? It tastes great.等相关句型结构进行合理表述。
