学情分析

本班的学生学习英语的积极性很高，对英语有着浓厚的兴趣，喜欢大声朗读、角色扮演、编对话等学习形式。根据六年级学生的学习心理和认知能力的特点，体现明确的课时目标，循序渐进，充分发挥学生学习英语的主动性和积极性，采用角色扮演、小组合作、编对话等形式加强巩固所学句型，让学生有自主学习的时间，发挥自己的想象，内化所学句型，而且本部分以周末计划为话题，贴近生活，可以引起学生兴趣。最后，教师进行点评，学生很快掌握重点句型。

教材分析

本部分通过Zoom和Zip招聘足球守门员的故事复习巩固核心句型How tall are you? How heavy are you? I’m … He’s bigger than…同时，还通过图片和上下文理解新句子：Football needs teamwork.等

教学目标

1、知识目标：

复习本单元四会词和三会词并正确使用词汇描述人或动物外貌。

能读懂Story time中的故事并按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读故事、表演故事，还能恰当运用故事的语言。

1、重点：复习、掌握本单元的单词和句子；

2、难点：能借助图片读懂Story time 中的故事，理解句子Football needs teamwork. 课前准备：单词卡片、多媒体课件、教具

Step1. Warming up

1. Sing the song “My small cat.”

2. Greeting

T: Good morning boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Chan. T: OK, today we’ll learn the new part C Story time. Here we have four groups, G1, G2, G3 and G4. There are many smiling faces here. If you do a good job, your group will get a smiling face and stick it on your cardboard. Which group gets more smiling faces, which group can sit the best seat to watch the football match. Are you ready?

Ss: Yes. T: Now, begin. 3. Sharp eyes The teacher flashes the word cards “younger, older, taller, shorter, shorter, longer, smaller, bigger, thinner, heavier and stronger” that students have studied and compare which group of students reflect quickly and read the most accurately and loudly. (通过记录，让学生运用英语比较级的句型进行比较，通过比较最终选出最佳的守门员) 分发表格,小组进行讨论,通过小组间提问How tall are you? How heavy are you? 记录组员的身高、体重，小组选出合适的人参选，最后老师公布守门员身高体重的标准，符合得进入守门员，再进行最后帅选。

①T: PPT shows the pictures of story time.

There are six pictures here. Can you guess the story? Ss: 各种想象。

T: Are you right? Now, let’s watch the video. Today Zoom and Zip’s school need a goalkeeper too. What’s happening here? Watching the video again, and then answer the questions. Q1: Who wants to be a goalkeeper? Q2: What does a goalkeeper look like? (教师出示问题后播放故事动画，引导学生带着问题整体感知故事内容) S1: Zebra, Deer, Giraffe, Dog and Hippo.

S2: He’s tall and strong.

②T: There are so many animals coming here to have a try.

Q3: How tall is Deer? How heavy is it? Q4: Deer and Giraffe cannot be the goalkeeper. Why? Q5: Who became the goalkeeper last? Why? (引导学生带着问题看课本并圈出证明答案的句子，培养学生整体理解故事大意的能力，以避免望文生义)

为了让学生熟练地运用本单元的句型，通过学校“Football’s goalkeeper”的招募活动，以小组的形式运用所学句型调查组员身高、体重，让学生身临其境和体验英语，把所学的语言知识融入到生活化的情境中，提高学生理解语言和运用语言进行交流的能力。通过本校招募守门员的情境引入Story time的学习，有利于学生积极主动地参与课堂教学活动，让学生真正感知、体验、实践、参与和合作，在玩中学，学中用，真正做到学以致用。
