1.四年级的学生通过第一单元的学习，学习了restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇；

across from, next to, between等表示方位的词汇；指路短语turn left, turn right, go straight；

city, street, sports centre, hotel, square等表示城市中常见场所的词汇，以及buy toys, see a film, go boating 等表示活动的短语，并尝试借助拼读规律记忆单词。

3. 能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇将句子补充完整，并且做到书写正确、规范。

四年级的孩子们仍然喜欢游戏。通过玩炸弹游戏和猜谜语的活动，复习以前学习过的表示地点场所的名词，激活学生以往的知识，同时在紧张愉快的氛围中让他们迅速进入学习英语的状态之中。

由复习单词，词组到复习句子，其目的是为这节课做下铺垫。
