Unit 8 We are twins

Period 1

教学目标:

1. 能听懂、会说、会读表示家庭成员的词汇,如三年级上册所学的father, mother, brother, sister, uncle以及本课新学的aunt。

2. 能听懂、会说、会读句型:Who’s he / she?及其回答He’s / She’s…和日常用语Who’s that girl? She’s…She’s my…We’re twins.

3. 能听懂、会说、会读词汇:girl, we, we’re=we are, twin, aunt

4. 能初步感知Story time的内容,整体理解对话的意思,并能运用所学语言进行交流。

5. 能较熟练地朗读Story time内容,在理解的基础上分角色表演对话。

6. 能在正确的场合用所学句型询问自己想认识的人是谁,或为他人解答某人是谁。

7. 引导学生热爱自己的家庭。

教学重点:

1. 词汇:we, girl, twin

2. 句型:Who’s he / she? He’s / She’s…He’s / She’s my …

3. 整体理解对话内容,初步感知交际用语的运用,能熟练跟读和模仿。

教学难点:

1. 词汇:we, girl, twin等单词的读音

教学过程:

Step 1 Warm up

课前播放阶梯英语系列之Who’s she? 为所教内容做铺垫。结束时让画面定格在一幅全家照上,教师总结:What a happy family!

Step 2 Lead-in

1、播放学生一年级时开放日的照片,介绍Open Day的概念。Look, this was our open day. All the families come to school. They can visit the school. They can have classes with you.

2、顺势导入Who’s he?/ Who’s she 的句型,引导学生用回答:She’s…/ He’s…

Step 3 Presentation

1、Today there’s an open day in Mike’s school. Look, who are the visitors?

(呈现书上的图片P1,P2,P3)再次渗透Who’s he ? Who’s she? 的句型。

2、Who are the visitors?

Listen and learn

a. 听第一幅图录音,学习uncle

You know, uncle is your father’s or mother’s brother.

Mike’s uncle is the visitor.

b. 听第二附图录音,学习aunt

You know, aunt is your father’s sister or your mother’s sister.

c. P3 Who is she? Is she Su Hai? Look at that girl! Who’s she? 听第三幅图

She’s Su Yang.

3、Look at Su Yang and Su Hai. They are sisters. But they look the same!

Look at them carefully. (比较两个女孩)

Their hair is the same. Their noses are the same…

分享一些全球各地的双胞胎的图片,让学生进一步感知twins的含义,加深他们的印象。4、So Su Yang and Su Hai are twins, they tell us 听“We are twins.”

5、Su Yang and Su Hai are twins. Do you know which is Su Yang and which is Su Hai? Let’s watch the cartoon again.(第二遍)

看图,The girl in purple is Su Hai. The girl in yellow is Su Yang.

Now you know the twins. And how can we ask if we want to know someone.

6、Listen and circle. 打开书,听一听,并圈出关键的句子。

Check the answer. Who is he? Who is she? Who’s that girl?

7、(ppt)Look at the man. How can we ask? Who is he?

教:Who is he?

And look ate the woman. How can we ask? Who is she?

教:Who is she?

Do you know them? 让学生回答:He’s uncle. She’s aunt.

8、Let’s chant:

9、Let’s act

后三幅图,观察并揣摩Mike的语气有什么不同,老师通过自己的语气和手势进行细致的指导,学生集体模仿然后个人模仿。

Work in pairs. 同桌选择一幅自己喜欢的图片来演一演。

Rules:

全体组员齐读,语音语调正确得一颗星。

分角色读,有感情,语音语调正确得两颗星。

1、当我们想这知道那个人是谁,可以问:Who is…?

2、如果是男的,我们问:Who is he?
