Step 1．Greeting. Greet my students as they enter the classroom. When they settle, tell them that today they are going to listen to and read a story about a rabbit that got stuck in the mud. My students now have a good understanding of the plot and action of the story. Now, it's time for them to hear it and read aloud. Read the whole story to them, slowly and with actions and gestures. Ask the students to follow me as I read．

Step 5．After reading Take a few minutes to talk about the story. Ask the students: Is it always possible to do something without help? Would you help a friend who is having some problems?
