Design Lesson14: Tomorrow We Will Play!

Teaching Aims: I.

By learning the key words and review the sentence structure of Simple Future Tense(be going to do), the students can learn and use another way of

Simple Future Tense (will do) III.

Moral Objects

Cultivate the students a good habit of making plans to do something. Develop the students’

physical training and loving the flowers and trees. Motivate and train the students’

interests of learning English.

Master the key words and how to use ‘will(not) +v.’ to express their own will.

Can use the sentence pattern ‘I will(not) ...” to talk about their own plans and will. Teaching Aids:

Step3: Presentation

Words and sentences

Show some pictures

to the students, and ask: What are you going to do tomorrow? Help them answer: I am going to the park. We are going to play basketball. Then tell the students: We express we are going to do sth. , we can say: We will do sth.. 2. Show ‘will’

and ask the students to repeat , and explain its Chinese meaning.(Write ‘will’ on the blackboard.) Then help the students use ‘will’

instead of ‘be going to ‘

in the above sentences. 3. Show more pictures to

practice the Simple Future Tense

about ‘will’. Such as: What will you do tomorrow? I/We will fly a kite. What will he/she do tomorrow? He/She will look at the beautiful flowers. What will the girl do ? She will run.... 4. Next show proper pictures to teach the new words ‘close’

‘pick’ and ‘angry’. Ask the students to repeat and do proper actions to better understand their Chinese meanings. Then let some students

do actions in front of class.

Finally, write and remember. ( Give the best students points.) Step4: Practice 1.

Practice speaking: Who is the fastest and best one? When the students see the picture, they can say : I will ... Or I will not ...

( Give the best students points.)

2. Practice asking and answering : Which group is the best? In

each group, each one should ask at least two members : What will you do this Sunday? The leader write down the survey results on the chart. The teacher makes an inspection tour in the class. ( Give the best groups points.)

3. Practice writing: Boys and girls, let’s come to ‘I can write’. Now open your books and turn to Page 41. Let’s finish Part 2: Look, draw and write. Let’s see who is the best one?

Step5. Extension T: If we don’t protect our environment, what will happen? To have a beautiful nature, what should we do next? Please write some slogans ! let’s work hard together!

Step6. Summing up
