具体内容

Step1 Lead-in (5minutes) 1.Get some students act out some advertisements and tell the students that there are many advertisements around us. 2.Get the students enjoy some pieces of advertisements and ask them if they believe them or not. 3.The teacher says “Since there are so many dishonest advertisements, do you want to know ways to stop us from being cheated?”

Step2 Presentation(25minutes) Skimming Task1 Teaching procedures Get the students read the text quickly and find out the four ways to keep advertisers honest. Scanning Task2 *Match the items with their descriptions. Task3 *Judge if the statements are true or false and correct the false ones. Comprehending Task4 *Read the text carefully and answer the questions Task5 *Fill in the blanks according to the text. (Purpose: 1.Get the students master different reading skills.2.Get the students learn to cooperate with each other.)

Step3 Discussion(8minutes) Task6 The teacher says:“

Old people are easily to be cheated. What can we do to protect them from being cheated by misleading advertisements? Please talk in groups and find out as many ways as possible.”
