Fun Reading 教学设计
教学目标
1.知识目标
了解关于郑和的英文小短文,运用所学的句型如where was he from?what should the sailors do on the ship?形成对动词过去式的初步认识。锻炼提高学生们灵活运用目标语言的能力。
2.能力目标
理解并能在真实语境中进行交流,通过小组合作解答问题,制定航海规则,培养学生们合作意识;通过介绍不同国家的宠物,加深跨文化理解。
3.情感目标
培养学生们的爱国主义情怀,强化学生社会规则意识,开拓学生的国际视野,培养保护动物意识。
学情分析
Fun Reading 是学生们刚刚接触的环节,学生们对此有一定的新鲜感。阅读任务的完成需要学生具有一定语篇的理解能力,以及小组合作完成任务的能力
重点难点
教学重点:
通过阅读活动完成任务,初步培养学生在文章中获取信息,猜测并理解文章中的词汇的意思,并能根据文章回答问题。
教学难点:
1、能够读懂两篇内容,了解动词的过去式。
2、通过本课的阅读活动初步掌握阅读策略教学目标
1、通过利用多媒体创设情境,通过阅读理解与小组合作,使学生能够理解本课两篇短文。并能介绍历史人物、乘船过程中的规则、不同国家的动物,了解动词的过去式。
2、利用阅读活动初步培养学生的阅读策略,如通过回答问题理解文章、先圈出不认识的单词并尝试上下文猜词达意等。能与同学交流,制定航海规则
3、通过阅读,使学生了解到郑和是中国伟大的航海家,增强国家荣誉感与自豪感;通过抓关键词句,了解四个不同国家的代表性动物,增进跨文化理解,渗透保护动物、善待动物的意识。

Reading tasks 1)Skimming.快速浏览文章,抓住要点。
Answer these questions according to the passage. T: Next, let’s listen and read the passage again. Try to underline the answers in the text. S:The story is about Zheng He. 边听边快速浏览文章,通过问题引领,圈划大局,初步了解文章大意。
2)Intensive reading精读课文,捕捉细节信息。

Don’t make noise. 结合学过的各类规则的短语,在小组中针对船上的规则,充分展开讨论。引导学生运用语言,拓展学生思维,培养学生的规则意识。
活动4【导入】Pre-reading T:Do you like animals? 2. So do you like pets? What pets do you know? S: Yes! Dog/ kitten/ bird/ goldfish/ lizard/ hamster/... 由你喜欢的宠物话题展开讨论,引出文章的新词:goldfish, lizard, hamster。
活动5【活动】Reading task 1)Skimming
听读结合,快速浏览文章。
Read and fill in the blanks. T:
Open your book ,turn to page 43 and read the passage. Read the passage and fill in the blanks in groups. (use the pattern: take...as...) 快速浏览文章,以小组为单位进行表格填写,让学生学会快速浏览抓住重点信息。在回答过程中自然运用词组take...as... Find the pets and nations. 2)Intensive reading精读课文,捕捉细节信息。
1. Pets around the world. T:In China: Look! Gold and Fish.--Goldfish! T:What about the goldfish? S:It has a beautiful tail. It lives in a fish bowl. 通过拼词法学习新单词,使学生掌握构词方法。
