Step4 Story time:

1. Lead-in: T: You know Miss Clock can tell you time. Do you like Miss Clock? Oh, I am glad to hear that. But what about our friend Liu Tao? Does he like Miss Clock, too? Now, it’s time for Liu Tao’s story.

Ss watch the story. T: Does Li Tao like Miss Clock? Yes, I think so. Because he knows do the right things at the right time. Now, let’s follow Liu Tao.

2. Dialogue 1: T: What time is it? It’s seven o’clock. Liu Tao is still sleeping in bed. He will be late. Let’s shout to him. Don’t sleep, Liu Tao. Oh, he can’t hear us. Don’t worry, his mum is coming. Teach mum and read. Listen, mum says (play 1st sentence). Teach wake up. Let’s wake Taotao up like mum. Ss say wake up, Taotao.

2. Dialogue 2: T: After breakfast, where’s Liu Tao? (Chang to 2nd scene)

Liu Tao is hurrying to school. Who does he meet? Miss Li. Let’s shout to Liu Tao, hurry up. Teach hurry up. Say together: Hurry up, Liu Tao. It’s time for class. Teach class.

3. Dialogue 3: T: Time goes fast. Tick tock. It’s six o’clock in the evening. Liu Tao is at home. Is it time for breakfast? Open your book and find the answer. Ss: No, it’s time for dinner. Teach dinner. Read: It’s time for dinner.

4. Dialogue 4: T: It’s dark outside. What time is it? Let’s listen and count. Ss: It’s nine o’clock. T: Is it time for class/dinner? It’s time for…? Ss: It’s time for bed. Teach bed.
