一、教学内容
这节课是人教新版(精通)英语五年级下册Unit 4 what’s wrong with you ?的Lesson 19。本单元的主题是谈论生病,并且能够表达对病人的关切之情。话题贴近学生的生活实际,这是第四单元的第一课,是一节对话教学,本课的话题是Kate生病了,不能去上学,她打电话向刘老师请假。本节课涉及的句型有
May I speak to…please? This is…speaking. I’m ill today. I have a bad cold. Don’t worry about your lessons. Take good care of yourself等。重点词汇:headache、afraid、
take…to…。
二、教学目标
1.知识目标
(1)
能够听、说、认读单词:ill ,bad ,cold ,headache 以及短语:take me to the hospital , have a cold/headache Don’t worry about… , go to a doctor,take good care of youreslf。
(2)能够听懂并说出打电话的习惯用语:May I speak to …,please? This is …speaking. (3)能够理解并正确读出Just speak对话部分的内容。
2.能力目标
(1)能够听、说、认读单词:ill ,bad ,cold ,headache 以及短语:take me to the hospital , have a cold/headache Don’t worry about… , go to a doctor,take good care of youreslf。
(2)能够听懂并说出打电话的习惯用语:May I speak to …,please? This is …speaking. (3)通过Just speak对话部分的内容,能够简单描述病情并通过打电话的方式向老师请假。
3. 情感、策略目标
(1)培养学生关心身边同学、朋友和家人健康,表达对病人的关切之情。
(2)通过创设情景,让学生能够积极主动地在课堂上尝试着完整输出语言。
三、教学重、难点
1.教学重点
(1) 理解并掌握本课重点句子:I’m ill today.
I have a headache.
I have a bad cold. 句子的含义及用法。
(2) 在教学过程中培养学生的阅读课外语篇、完整输出语言的能力。
2.教学难点
(1)对电话用语May I speak to Miss Liu ? This is Liu speaking. 的理解和用法的掌握。
(2)理解并尝试运用I’m afraid……句型。
四、教学准备
多媒体课件、单词图片、习题纸、水瓶、药品等道具等。

本节课我采用
情境式教学模式让学生通过聆听、阅读、合作,开展多种操练活动,真正实现以学生为主体,并尽可能多的为学生创造在真实语境中运用英语的机会。

六、教学过程
Step 1. Warming up Let’s sing a song together. 教师用幻灯片的形式出示一首自编的英文诗歌
T: Hello! Everyone!Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you,too! T: Are you happy to see me? Ss: Yes!
T: That’s cool! Me too!How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine(happy,good…)
T: What can you do when you are happy(feel well)?
Ss:I can smile、run、watch TV…
T: Good!If you feel well, can you do this like me?(打响指、吹口哨)

T: Now let’s see something about your teacher.(观看视频) Ss: You don’t feel well。
T: Yes,look at me!现场喝水、吃药。What’s wrong with me? Ss: You have a bad cold. T: you are right! I’m ill. I have a bad cold.(边说边用纸擦鼻涕) 【设计意图】通过教师创设真实的情景,贴近实际生活,并紧扣本单元话题,并把本课的重难点分散到情境中,也提前很好的渗透了本课的知识,降低了学生对新知的理解难度的同时,也增加了几分兴趣。

T: who doesn’t feel well like me? Ss;kate doesn’t feel well. T: you are right.Where is kate? Can she go to school? Ss;No,she can’t go to school. She is at home. T: What is she doing now?

T;let’s listen carefully (听录音,整体感知)
Who is she calling?She is calling me /you ? No! Ss: She is calling Miss Liu。
T:Do you remember what does Kate say in the telephone? Now let’s linten again. A.May I speak to Miss liu,please? B.Are you Miss Liu? C.What’s your name?
A.This is Miss Liu speaking. B.Ok!My name is Miss Liu. C.Yes,I am Miss Liu. Ss: kate says : May I speak to Miss liu,please?
Miss Liu says:This is Miss Liu speaking.

【设计意图】根据课程标准的要求,教学活动不应该仅限于课堂教学活动,而要延伸到课堂之外的学习和生活之中。因此,教师在设计家庭作业时,通过设计自己生病时与老师的对话,从而进一步巩固对本课所学知识的掌握。
Step 5. Writing on the blackboard. 板书设计做到清晰美观,一目了然地体现出本课所讲的重点单词和句子。
