Step 1 Warming up. 1.

Let’s sing a song about number.

T: I think your voices are lovely. Ok, the bell is ringing, it’s time for class. Class begins. 2. Learning aims 3. Play a game.

T: When you see the number, say it loudly. When you see a panda, say ‘lovely’. You are great. You know many numbers.

Step 2 Presentation and practice. 1.

Teach new words T: Can you count from one? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine, ten, eleven…

(1) (Teach: eleven.)…and twelve. (Teach: twelve.)

T: Let’s have a match. Which group can read faster? The two groups read eleven one by one, the other groups read twelve one by one. (2) Look, it’s a clock. Teach: clock. It can tell the time. Teach: time. 2.

Ask and answer T: What time is it? （引导）S: It’s nine. Teach: o’clock--It’s nine o’clock. (多增加几组时间问答练习) T: What time is it? S: It’s seven o’clock. Teach: What time is it? Read: What time is it? It’s seven o’clock. Teach: It’s time for breakfast.

Step 3 Story time 1. Let’ help T: It’s seven o’clock. But Liu Tao is still in bed. (Teach: bed.) What does Mum say? Listen. (Wake up, Taotao.) Teach: wake (cake) --wake up. Guess the meaning of “Wake up”. Read: Wake up. (动作) Let’s help

Mum to call Liu Tao. Ss together: Wake up, Taotao.

2. Watch the cartoon and choose a title T: Liu Tao wakes up. He is very busy today. Let’s watch the cartoon. After watching, you can choose a title for it. A. Liu Tao’s Day. B. Liu Tao’s Weekend. Watch and choose. Which one do you choose? 3.

Listen and number T: What does Liu Tao do today? Now let’s listen to the story. After listening, please number the pictures. Listen and number. I think many of you can number the pictures correctly.

Read and match T: Liu Tao does many things. What time does Liu Tao do these things? Let’s read story time first, and then match. Finish exercise two on your paper. T: What time is it?
