Procedures 1.

Announce the rule of the class and list out useful expressions used in the class Divide students into 4 groups, and anyone who can answer a question correctly can get a score for his or her group. The group with highest scores will be no home. 2.

Greeting

A student picks out her or his favorite sentence to share by turn. Shelley’s classic poem makes students hopeful and energetic. 3.

Warming up and Revision

An English song related to present perfect tense is used to make students interested in the grammar class. And then the teacher makes students recall the key points about present perfect tense, which make them learn the present perfect passive voice easily. 4.

Lead-in

Three famous and meaningful sentences are introduced to students to read aloud and the teacher changes them into passive tense. After that, let them observe the new grammar. 5.

The definition Summarize the definition of the present perfect passive voice. At the same time, two questions are designed to check whether students can understand it. 6.

Four structures of the present perfect passive voice Introduce four structures of the present perfect passive voice. Meanwhile, they are combined with students’ pictures to make the sentences using the structures. It can make the class more interesting and active. After that, the teacher invites students to write the four structures on the screen. 7.

Discussion and Rules

Give students three sentences and let them change the sentences into passive voice. And then, give them four minutes in their groups to find out the rules and details of changing into passive voice. After that, the teacher invites some students to share their ideas. At last, the teacher makes comments and shows her simple ideas. Certainly, three sentences are designed to check students’ condition.

First, the adjectives should be put between have\has and the verb;.

Second, not all the verbs can be changed into passive voice.

Third, the sentences must be complete at any time. And then, five questions are designed to check them. 9.
