(3)能够在真实情境中运用本课所学知识与人交流。

(2)教育学生热爱大自然,保护动物。

Step1.Warming-up and Revision

Greetings and Free Talk

T: Hello! Boys and girls.

S: Hello! Teacher.

T: Do you like animals?

S: Yes, we like animals.

T: Look at the screen and say the name of the animals quickly. Let’s see who is fast and correct? (大屏幕快速出现动物图片,引导学生们说出它们的名字cat, chicken, cow, dog, duck, goat, pig, sheep,复习以前学过的动物词汇,同时自然导入下一环节的教学)

T: Yon are excellent. Where do they live?

S: On a farm.

T: I know some animals, they don’t live on a farm, and they live in a zoo

Step2. Presentation and Practice

1. T: Today let’s learn some more animals at the zoo.

Look, this is a zoo. Listen carefully, who is coming?

大屏幕上呈现动物园的图片,让学生认真听老虎咆哮的声音,自然引出词汇tiger,教学tiger.

T: What’s this? It’s a tiger. 教学tiger.

T: Can you say something about tiger? Tigers can …. A tiger is …(教学意图:以声音让学生猜出需要学习的新单词,让学生们感觉有新意,引起他们的极大兴趣。教学单词之后让同学们试着描述一下新学的动物,做到了词不离句,将知识融会贯通。)

电脑屏幕上呈现狮子的一部分,让学生去猜测,并引出,呈现狼生活的地方,教师提问Who lives here?引出wolf。

呈现熊从远方走来的情景,教师问Look carefully, who is coming?引出

T:These are very big wild animals. Don’t be afraid. Most of us will never see these animals in the wild.

2. let’s sing! 听英文歌“Big and small” , 教师逐句教唱,学生齐唱,跟录音唱。

T: What’s this?

S: It’s a snake..

T: Yes. It’s a long snake. This snake is long. It’s long. (呈现单词long)

T: This is a snake too, but this one is short. It’s a short snake. It’s short. (教学单词short.)

(教学意图:通过实物引出新单词,然后又通过对比来让同学们认识两个反义词,加深了对词义的理解,也加强了学习的效果。)

出示兔子的图片

T: Look, Its ears are long. But its tail is short.

出示更多动物的图片,让同学们自己描述。

(设计意图:从教师引导同学们描述长短到让同学们自己描述动物的特征,教学由易到难,循序渐进,遵循了教学的规律,提高了教学效果。)

Step3 let’play

Practice in pair; guess animals :

S1: Its tail is long。

S2: It’s thin.

S3: It’s brown.

S4: Is it a monkey? S5: Yes!
