《Join in》英语四年级下册--第三单元Animals第一课时（Part1）。本课是一篇单词教学课，并渗透了一些第二课时将要学习的句型It is... It has got... It eats... It can...

二、教学目标：

1.语言知识与语言技能目标：

（1）能正确认读、理解单词lion、pig、cow、hippo、fox、wolf、sheep、snake、duck。

（2）能运用It is... It has got... It eats... It can..等句型描述不同动物的特征。

（3）能根据别人对动物特征的描述猜出动物的名称。

2. 情感态度目标：学会爱护动物。

3. 文化意识目标：了解不同动物的特征。

三、教学重点和难点：

1．教学重点：能运用It is... It has got... It eats... It can..等句型描述不同动物的特征。

2. 教学难点：动词的第三人称单数形式,如eats、has；动物单词wolf、fox、hippo、sheep的复数形式。
