一、教学内容：Story time

二、教学目标：

1. 知识目标

（1）能听、说、读单词eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hair，his，her, big, small, long和short。

（2）能听、说、读句型He’s/She’s…His/Her …is/are…。

2. 技能目标

（1）能正确使用句型He’s/She’s…His/Her …is/are…描述人物外貌。

（2）能用正确的语音语调朗读课文，并表演课文。

3. 情意目标

学生能懂得悦纳自我，并敢于展示自我。

三、教学重点、难点：

重点：单词hair, his，her, long和short及句型He’s/She’s…His/Her …is/are…. 难点：单词his与her的用法区别及句型His/Her …is/are…的正确运用。

四、教学具准备：多媒体课件、单词及句型板书、dolls图片等

五、教学过程：

Step 1

Pre-reading T: I have a box. Can you guess, what’s in the box?

Look, there is a doll in the box.

Today, we’ll learn Unit8 Dolls. T: For this lesson, you must listen carefully with your eyes, watch carefully with your ears, and speak English well with your mouth.

First, let’s enjoy a song.

T: From this song, I can hear head, shoulders, knees and toes. What else can you hear? T: Do you like playing games?

Let’s play a game--What’s missing? 1.

Look at this frog. What’s missing?

While-reading Task 1 T: Today, some children are talking about dolls, too.

Look at the picture.

Who are they?

Where are they? T: How many dolls do they have?

Let’s watch the cartoon and answer the question. Ss: Two. T: Yes, they have two dolls. One is a girl doll, the other is a boy doll. And we know, the girl doll is Su hai and Yang ling’s, the boy doll is Wang bing and Liu tao’s. Task 2 T: What part do they talk about?

Let’s listen and circle. (PPT播放课文录音，圈出相应的图片。) Task 3

T: What’s the girl doll like?

Let’s read this part silently and tick the right one.

T: From this lesson, you can read and use the new words, you can read and act the story, you can describe the dolls.

So I think, everyone is good today.

Though maybe your eyes are small, like Lv Yan（出示吕燕照片），maybe your mouth is big,

like Yao Chen（出示姚晨照片），maybe your ears are big, like Ge You（出示葛优照片），maybe your nose is big, like Cheng Long（出示成龙照片），but you are still that lovely you. Because everyone is unique! Just be yourself and show yourself!

Step 4 Homework 1. Listen to the tape，read after it and try to recite the dialogue. 2. Share your favourite dolls to your friends.
