教材分析：

本节课是新标准三年级起始四年级上册第五模块第二单元，主要是学习单词strong. star,以及询问他人能力和相应的回答Can he /she..?在学习本课新句型之前，学生在第一单元已经学会了句型I can….I can’t……Can you …？因此，本课的主要句型学生接受起来就比较容易。

学情分析: 四年级的学生活泼好动，好奇心强，喜欢表现自己，通过一年多的英语学习，他们能听懂简单的课堂用语，能表演简单的对话，能根据教师的简单的个人指令做游戏，做动作，能交流简单的个人信息，对新语言表现出好奇心与兴趣，需要通过各种教学方式反复的练习，不断强化才能巩固所学的知识。

教学目标: 1.

知识目标: （1）正确读、说、拼、辩单词 strong，star. （2）正确认读句子 Can he/she ...l? Yes, he /she can. / No, he /she can’t. 2.

能力目标: （1）能用can句型来询问别人的能力和回答。 （2）能正确朗读、理解课文和表演课文。

情感目标 通过本课学习，使学生有兴趣听、说英语、背歌谣,主动与他人交流；能用can句型来询问别人的能力和回答,培养学生助人为乐的好品质。

教学重难点：

重点：①掌握单词strong, star ②句型: Can he/she...？

Yes,he\she can. / No, she\he can’t. 难点：情态动词Can 引导的含有第三人称的一般疑问句以及肯定和否定回答. 教学方法： 小组合作法，任务教学法。 教学工具：白板课件，CD—ROM 教学过程：

活动1【导入】Warm up：

1.Greeting to each other . 2. Watch the video and sing a song. I can’t do it . I can’t do it . Can I help you ? Can I help you ?

We can do it together . We can do it together . 3.Show some pictures, let the students to guess the phrases：

jump far /play football /jump high /fly a kite /ride a bike /play basketball . The teacher make sentence :I can ....Then ask some students

to make sentences. T:Can you ... ? Ss:Yes ,I can ./No, I can’t . (Two in pairs to ask and answer .) 活动2【讲授】Presentation 1、Watch the video ,chant and do the actions. Can you swim ? Can you fly a kite ? Can you skate ? Can you ride a bike? 2、Talk about “can”. 我是情态动词can, 若表能力我来担。

不管主语怎么变， can 的模样都不变。

只要句中出现can，动词原形站后边。

一般疑问can 在前 , 否定can后not 添。
