一、

知识目标:

1.学生能听懂、会说、认读和书写下列词汇

zoo,panda,monkey,elephant,big,small,tiger,long,short, one--ten,

river,tree,grass and banana.

2.学生能理解并口头运用下列用语和句子:

How many...are there? There are...

Where does a ...live?

What do they eat ? They eat...

二、能力目标:

1.在课堂交流中,注意倾听,积极思考。

2.利用思维导图,对本单元所学的内容能够主动复习和归纳。

三、情感态度与价值观:

激发孩子们学习英语的兴趣和好奇心,提高他们自主学习的能力。

增强孩子们保护动物的意识。

学情分析

三年级的学生对英语有着强烈的好奇心,也有浓厚的学习兴趣。

重点难点

1.总结归纳本单元重点词汇并运用。

2.认识思维导图,并能利用思维导图,对所学的内容能够归纳。

教学过程

【导入】

sing a song 《At the Zoo》

【设计意图:以歌曲导入,调动起学生对英语的学习兴趣,激起学生的积极性。】

【讲授】Review the words about animals，feature, eat，live. (1)Brain storming T : What animals are at the zoo?

【设计意图开放的问题,发散学生的思维，调动起学生对英语的学习兴趣,激起学生的积极性。】

(2)find the same feature and difference. T:Different animals have the same feature, and the same animal is different .Let’s have a look.

T:Look, They are... (big, fat, small, thin, long,short.) T:Okay, What animals are big and fat? What animals are small and thin? What is long? What is short?

【设计意图:引导学生运用本单元的形容词,发散学生的思维。】

（3）Let’s go to the zoo!

T:Wow,We know more about the animals .Let’s go to the zoo .

T:How many animals are there?

T:Wow, Look at the elephant, It’s big and fat, It’s gray. Its nose is long, Its tail is short.

Can you talk about other animals?

【设计意图:鼓励学生用英语描述动物,让学生学以致用，提高学生的总结与归纳能力，进而提高学生的口语表达能力。】

Where they live. T：Listen! What animal roars?

Ss:Tigers roar. T:Why does the tiger roar? May be it is hungry.so, What do tigers\ monkeys\ giraffes\ bears eat?

T:Okay ,Let’s have a look. What animals eat.

T:Oh, What’s in the grass?

Ss: It’s a rabbit.

T: Why? Rabbits eat grass.And Where does a rabbit live? T:Where does a panda\ fish\ bird live? T:Okay, Let’s have a look. Where animals live.
