5AM2U3的教学主题是Moving home,以搬新家为话题,通过对本单元的学习让学生能对自己喜爱的房间的原因进行表述,并对家中房间的布置以及活动进行描述,激发学生热爱自己的家,享受家庭生活的情感。
本单元可以通过组织学生进行对话交流、小组调查等方式开展教学,使学生在互动与交流的过程中学习并运用语言知识,体验学习英语的乐趣。
2、单元教学目标
1、能正确朗读、拼写单词south, north, east, west, study,掌握单词的
正确发音与含义。
2、能使用Which room do you like? Why do you like it? 等句型询问对
方对房间的喜好。
3、能用It faces…来表述房间的朝向,并能运用在对房间的整体描述中。
4、能运用There be 等句型对房间进行设计,并能表述自己的设计。
5、能阅读本单元语篇并理解其含义,逐步学会根据问题的导引从语篇中
寻找关键信息。

本课时目标
I. Main task:
通过对Sally’s new home 的介绍,学生在学习三段文本的过程中,借助图文、音效等多种手段,理解文本内容,感知文本结构,感受房间文化,并且尝试使用语言结构为Sally 设计新的房间,实现语用输出,提升情感内涵。
II. Aims:
1. 通过视听、阅读文本,学生能理解文本内容,感知文本结构,在Sally’s new home的阅读过程中学生学习四个方位单词south, north, east, west,并能运用句型It faces…来描述房间方位。
2. 通过对三个不同房间的感知、学习与对比,学生了解在不同的房间中做的各种不同的事情,在学习的过程中体验文本所表达的房间的文化。
3. 通过文本的学习和不同房间的比较,学生能表达自己喜爱某一房间的原因,并激发出学生热爱自己的家的情感。

Hi, I’m Sally. I have a new home. It’s big and nice. Welcome to my new home. I like the living room best. Because it faces south. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. There is a soft sofa, a TV set and a dining table in it. After dinner, my family often chat and sing together. We watch TV together. Sometimes my grandpa plays chess with me. What a warm room for family! Behind the living room, it’s a study. There is a bookcase, a desk, a chair and a computer in it. I always do my homework and read books there. My father often works with the computer and reads newspaper in it. My mother likes drawing pictures there. What a quiet room for family! By the study, it’s my bedroom. The wall is purple. That is my favorite color. There is a big window in my bedroom. There is a lot of sunshine through the window. On sunny days, I enjoy the sunshine on my soft bed. On rainy days, I hear the raindrops. Pitter-patter, Pitter-patter! What a comfortable room for me! We are happy with our new home. We enjoy our lives every day.
