Unit 3 Travel Plans Lesson 3 【教学目标】

1.能够读懂有关旅游计划的短文,能够获取其中的关键信息完成任务,尝试用所给功能句:want(s) to…及…can…进行口头表达,并借助语言框架,结合自己及他人的旅游计划进行简单书写。

2.能够比较流利的朗读小文段。

3.能够使用简单的语言,以口头和书面形式介绍自己及他人的旅游计划。

【学情分析】

四年级学生已有四年的英语学习经历,具有一定的英语听说读技能,能够脱口而出一些简单的常用单词和日常交际用语。在课堂教学中,教师应结合他们已有的英语语言基础,巧设情境,引导他们积极参与课堂语言实践活动,来拓展英语语言知识,发展综合语言运用能力。

【教学重难点】

1.借助图片和阅读策略读懂短文的内容,并将对应的人物和图片配对起来。

2.能够使用简单的语言,以口头和书面形式介绍自己及他人的旅游计划。

3.能够比较流利的朗读小文段。

【教学设计】

本课时由两个部分组成:A Read and match;B Read again and write. A部分是读懂短文内容并完成配对,B部分是根据短文内容完成填空。

【教学过程】

Step1.热身和复习

2.对话练习:教师用PPT出示Lesson1A部分的图片,先师生示范,然后生生练习对话:

Where do you want to go this summer vacation/ winter vacation? What do you want to do there? Step2.课程导入

教师出示男孩图片说:“Do you know him ? Yes, this is Zhou Ming.”然后出示生日蛋糕图片T:Today is Zhou Ming’s birthday. What does Zhou Ming want to do on his birthday? Do you want to know? Ss: Yes. T: OK. Let’s find it in Lesson 3. Step3.新课教学

A. Read and match. 1. T: First, let’s listen to the first paragraph and think over what does Zhou Ming want to do on his birthday? S1: He wants to travel. 2. T: I have some questions. Let’s look together. (PPT呈现问题) (1)How many people can you find in the paragraph? (2)Who are they? (3)How many places are there in the first paragraph? (4)Where do they want to go? T: Listen to the tape with questions and talk about them in your group.

设计意图:(鉴于本课是语篇教学,教师在这一教学环节中,安排学生对文本进行了五次听读,针对每一次的阅读提出了不同的要求。第一遍,让学生对文本进行整体感知,了解课文的大意。第二遍听音回答问题,圈出文本中有效的信息,组织语言,解答问题。第三遍,自读文本,完成连线及黑板上的表格内容。第四遍,小组朗读并展示,检测学生是否能够流利的朗读课文。最后以复述的形式检测学生是否能够理解并运用所学语言。) B.
