Show the picture of “caveman”. Teach the word.

Students read the sentence, “Cavemen often eat raw meat. They didn’t cook their food.”

Teacher teaches “raw meat”.

3. Read after the tape. 4. Now there are many things to help you cook. Students read the sentence together. 5.In 2050, there will be house robots. They will cook ,clean and wash the dishes. Teach “wash the dishes.”

Students read it one by one.

6. Teacher: “These three parts are talking about cooking in the past, now and in the future.”

Teacher writes it on the blackboard. 7. Students read the rest of story and discuss with your partner about the main idea. 8. Students show the result of the discussion.

1. Listen to the radio and practice fluently. 2. Tell the story to your parents or friends.

本课时是选学课程，是故事类的，所以文本本身比较有意思，课堂气氛比较热烈，但是其中有些词是我没有预设到的难点，导致学生们表达的时候出现障碍，今后备课时我得多加注意，根据学情认真分析教学难点。
