Teaching aims:

Learn and master the key words and expressions Help the students to learn about the greatest navigational journey.

To develop the students’ reading ability. To practice the students’ oral English.

To let students realize that the whole life is an adventure, the furthest people are the person who are often willing to do it and willing to take the risk.

Teaching important & difficult points: Help the students understand the reading passage better. Improve students' reading ability.

Analysis of students: Some words and long sentences in the text are difficult for students to understand the whole details. So during the teaching process, teacher can build different practicing steps to help students to learn the text better .
