Unit2 working the land

教材分析：

本模块是本单元的第一节课，包含了Warming-up和pre-reading。这个模块只要是先让学生了解有关农业和农作物设计了一个问题，然后让学生看图和WHOde统计数据，并思考反映出来的问题以及世界上没有水稻会发生什么。同时，还可以激发学生的同情心和人道主义精神。

教学目标

1 知识目标：了解关于农业的有关词汇，

表达建议的基本句型

2 能力目标：通过讨论和微写作培养学生的合作能力，口语能力和写作能力

3 情感目标：通过本节课，让学生学会珍惜粮食，并且帮助有需要的人，激发学生的同情心和人道主义。

教学重点：

2 通过讨论拓展思维

3 如何写关于提建议类的文章

教学难点

1 帮助写生提高口语能力和写作能力

2 培养学生的合作能力

教学方法

1 任务型教学：结合学生的生活经验，和兴趣设计相关的任务，让学生在个人和小组合作的方式完成任务并学习相应的语言知识

2 多媒体教学：充分利用多媒体技术，拓宽学生的学习渠道，让学生更直观了解关于农业和世界饥饿的问题，提高教学效果

3 小组合作学习：利用小组合作，拓展学生思维并提高学生口语能力和小组俄合作能力

教学步骤

Step One Lead-in

通过一张QQ农场的图片导入本节课，让学生讨论在游戏中所走的事来吸引学生的兴趣。

Step Two

Presentation

1 让学生欣赏一首诗，并猜测它的中文意思，引出干农活的辛苦和种水稻的步骤

T：Let's read a poem. S：（reading aloud together) T：Do you know the Chinese meaning? S：Yes/No T：What can learn from the poem? S：The farm work is hard. T：Yes, the farm work is hard and tiring. So do you know the steps of farming? 2 让学生通过图片来了解种水稻的步骤，并了解与农业相关的词汇，以及一些主食的词汇。

导入饥饿的这一话题

T：Is the food mentioned above enough to everyone in the world?

S：No. T：What do we face since the food is not enough? S：Hunger

让学生通过一个震撼的视频和一些WHO的图片让学生了解世界上饥饿的现状

T：Why does the world suffer such great hunger? S：（answer the question with the help of of the pictures）

通过图片引导学生了解饥饿的原因，为讨论措施做好准备

Step Three Discussion

讨论解决的该问题的方法，和学生一起总结解决饥饿的相关措施，为微写作做好准备。

T：What can we do to rid the world of hunger? Please discuss in groups and then share your opinions in public. S：(discussing for 5 minutes) T：Time is up. Who would like to share your opinions? S：

Step Four Mirco-writing T：Now,let's write a short passage on how to rid the world of hunger. Before writing, watch a micro-class to see how to write a passage of this kind. S：watching a mirco-class. (After watching) T：Now you have 7 minutes to write a short passage on How to Rid the World of Hunger ,then I will ask some of you to present your passage.The pattern on the screen is one possible version S：(writing) T: (walking around the class to see whether the students need any help ) Who would like to present your passage here?
