Step1 Warm up

1.Free talk

How old are you?

I’m ten/eleven

2.Say a chant: eleven and ten

3.Count the numbers:one to eleven, eleven+1=twelve

4.Sing a song: Zero, Five,Ten

Step 2 Presentation and Practice

1. From the song, T emphasizes 0, 5 ,10

Do maths : 0+7=7, 5+7+12, 10-5=5

2.Show a electrical clock by transferring the numbers. (PPT)

T: Look,the numbers turn into the time. So what time is it?

T 示范回答It’s seven o’clock. 请学生回答接下来2个时间,以回顾和巩固: What time is it?

It’s ... o’clock.

3.Look and fill

T: (Clock 1)What’s this?

S: It’s a clock.

clock →o’clock

T: What time is it?(指着钟)

S: It’s seven o’clock.

T: It’s time for?Look at the picture and try to answer.

Drill breakfast

4.Sing a song :What time is it?

After the song, T helps Ss to re-read the sentences and try to write them:

5.Pair-work: Look at the clocks and the pictures ,then ask and answer

6.Story time

(PPT shows another clock) T: What time is it?

S: It’s seven o’clock.

T: Yes, but Liu Tao is still in bed. What would Mum say?

“Wake up, Tao Tao.”

Drill “wake up” (cake, wake)

T: Liu Tao runs to the school. What would Miss Li say?

“Hurry up, Liu Tao.”

Dill “hurry up”(bus, lunch)
