Step 1 : Warm-up 1.

Greeting Sing a song : Head, shoulders, knees and toes (1)

Ss listen and the teacher does the action. (2)

Ss stand up and do the actions together.

Step2: Pre-reading 1.

Show some pictures to Ss.

According to the picture, to teach Ss the new words: eye/an eye/eyes.

Then ask the students to say the following sentences:

eyes, eyes, big, big, big At the same time , Ss can learn the new word: big Then show the other picture to learn the opposite : small Using this way to learn the other three words: ears/ mouth /nose. Then the teacher shows a girl doll and ask: T: Is her hair long?

Ss: Yes. The teacher show the following sentences to Ss : long hair, long hair, long, long, long short hair, short hair, short, short, short After learning the new words, ask Ss to read one by one. Then ,the teacher say the words, the Ss should use their hands to point themselves. 2.Let’ play a game :

Rules: See the words and pictures, Ss should read loudly and correctly.

See the doll, Ss should claps their hands. 3.Let’s read (1)Show the two dolls of the story, ask Ss to read and answer: Q: Whose dolls are they?(Ss think and say) (2)Listen and circle. Show the boy doll to Ss.
