1 The courseware shows the form of ing change of many words, and first let the students find the change rule:

A: read---reading

talk---talking

sing--- singing

study---studying

一般动词直接在词尾加ing B: write---writing

skate---skating

ride---riding

drive---driving 以不发音的e结尾的动词，去掉e,再加ing。

C sit--sitting

run---running

cut---cutting

get---getting stop--stopping 以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词，双写这个辅音字母后，再加ing.

然后教师出示动词ing变化规则口诀：

动词ing很好记，一般情况直接加ing.

词尾若有哑音e,去e再加ing.

一辅重闭”作尾巴，双写后加ing.

还有一些要注意，改ie为y再加in Step4 Extention
