学生在四年级已初步学习了There be 句型，五年级也接触了很多的处所词，

这些都为学生顺利掌握本课的内容奠定了一定的基础。

一、激趣定标

【设计意图】复习旧知, 考察学生的记忆力，练习There be句型。为后续的进一步学习该语言做好铺垫。

二、探究学习

（一）There are so many buildings in Susan’s community. Where are they ? Let’s play “True or False”：

2. Is there a hospital behind the bank? •

3. Is there a supermarket between the hotel and the bookshop? •

4. Is there a hotel across the road? •

5. Is there a river in front of the park?

Read by the students and write the key words on the Bb. （near, behind, beside, between, across the road, in front of）

四．反馈拓展

Didi Taxi is very easy for us to go out. You can call or send messages at home or in your community. Do you like your community? What kind of community do you want? Whatcan you do? Draw and say in groups. Eg.I hope there is a park in my community. I can play football there. I hope my community is clean and beautiful. I can plant more trees and flowers there. There is a bus stop near it. I can go out to play by bus.
