【学情分析】

五7班学生共有40名学生。该班从三年级开始由我执教至今。班内大部分学生能主动做到课前预习和及时复习,有较好的学习习惯,对英语也充满着较浓厚的学习兴趣。经过几年多的英语学***部分学生具备了一定的听、说、读、写的能力。在课堂中,许多学生也积极思维,乐意表达,学习主动性较强。

本课时是M4U1 Water的第1课时。要求学生在第一课时中,掌握表示步骤的单词first/next/then/finally等,并能初步使用这些单词对做某些事进行简单的步骤描述;学生将了解如何获得茶叶及泡茶的具体步骤,并从听说到尝试复述,再迁移到对其他事物的步骤描述上。在整体学习过程中,学生的听说读写各方面技能都将得到兼顾,对语言的综合使用能力也将得到很好的锻炼。

【教学目标】

1. 掌握单词boil, teapot, pour,词组pour…into…的发音和含义;

2. 拓展学习dry, roll, kettle, cannister。

3.通过了解泡茶的过程,能用first/ next/ then/ finally结合语句对做某事的步骤进行描述;

4.在语境中感受日常用语What are you doing?/ I’m making... /Would you like some? / Yes, please./ No, thanks.的含义并能进行准确使用;

5.通过故事,激发学生健康生活、热爱中国文化的美好情操。

【教学过程】

Procedure

Pre-task

1.Show the riddle and ask Ss to guess. Then show tea and tea leaves.

2.Ask Ss: How to get tea?. Introduce Kitty and the tea museum. 1.Watch the video to learn how to get tea. 2.To teach dry and roll. 3.To show: first, next, then, finally.

Students’ activities
