To keep our teeth clean and healthy, we should
Brush teeth twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.

本课时教学说明
我所教的是牛津教材5A M3U3 Seeing the doctor的第二课时。本教时的主题是与学生现实生活息息相关的健康话题“Keep our teeth clean and healthy”。我希望随着教学的层层推进,能让学生更多地了解我们的牙齿,增强自我口腔保健的意识,将更多的健康理念带入他们的家庭。
在本单元的第一课时中,学生已经学会了感冒的一些症状的表达,能用英语询问对方的身体状况并进行回答,能根据对方的症状提出相应的健康建议。本课,我将通过多媒体创设语境,围绕What can't we do when we have a toothache?
The importance of the teeth.
How do we keep our teeth clean and healthy? 3个话题展开讨论,用语篇带动学习,同时升华情感。
一、单元整体设计,注重连续性与递进性
在新课导入环节中,我首先复现了第一课时中涉及的关于Jean
的一首歌 What's wrong with you?以此作为对前一课时疾病名称的简单复习,同时以问答的形式引出今天的新授内容either。起到了承上启下的作用。
二、围绕主题,体验过程,挖掘教材文化内涵
我把Topic的题目定在Keep our teeth clean and healthy.围绕牙齿这个主题,我进行了三段内容的设计1.What can't we do when we have a toothache?
我首先根据Jean的情况提出一个open question,学生的思维从课的开始就被激发,他们的语言量也逐步激活。基于他们给出的答案,我提供了一个动画flash, 创设了一个新情景,让学生在听和看的过程中自己归纳The importance of the teeth,这也就进展到了课的第二部分。接着,过渡到牙痛就医环节,通过句型should…及shouldn’t…提出爱牙护牙建议,倡导他们养成良好的生活习惯,紧接着进入到本课的第三部分How to keep your teeth clean and healthy?
这部分,我同样借助多媒体brush bus,教给学生掌握正确刷牙的方法。通过爱牙日的引出,扩展了学生的视野,Quiz的设计将语言和情感体相结合。最后,在课程巩固阶段,我让学生运用所学语言,自主设计一张宣传海报,做一名健康大使,向家人或朋友宣传保护牙齿的意义及方法,用真实任务带动语言的学习,并通过外国友人的微笑和我们学校师生用微笑欢迎大家,来证明健康的牙齿,才能绽放灿烂的笑容。
三、语言训练层层递进,理解到运用水到渠成
本课在文本处理上首先对教材文本进行学习,再到对话的创编,最后通过爱牙日的一些小贴士,让学生在制作Poster的过程中运用语言。因此,内容,结构,情感在整体推进的同时,我们也不能忘记了语言点的有效落实。只有这样,学生才有运用语言的基础,理解到运用才能逐步水到渠成。
