Little Zoe Looking for Mum教学设计

教材内容:Little Zoe Looking For mum主要讲小兔子Zoe找妈妈的故事。这个故事分为两部分。Zoe 先后遇到了Penguin,Zebra,Tortoise,Dog,她们都不是她的妈妈,Zoe很伤心,最终遇到了爱她的Bear Mum,过上了幸福快乐的生活。

学生分析:三年级的小学生求知欲强,有较强的观察力和模仿力,对新鲜事物充满好奇心,动口、动手、动脑的全身协调能力较好。在对本课的学习过程中,有些单词学生已经会读、会说,难度并不大。教学内容恰好和本单元的family相契合,但也出现了一些难的单词和句子,这就要求教师在教学中对学生进行恰当的引导。

教学目标:

1.知识目标:

通过本课的学习,学生能听懂、会说单词:eyes,legs,ears, tail; 能理解并能说句型:You have…, but I don’t.

2. 能力目标:

围绕Zoe 找妈妈这条线索,在寻找的途中遇到很多小动物,她们是Zoe 的妈妈吗?通过多种方式和手段,为学生营造语言环境,使学生在故事情境中了解并能简单的描述故事内容。

3. 情感目标:

通过游戏,角色表演调动学生积极性,参与性,帮孩子树立学习英语的信心。经过Zoe looking for mum 故事,让孩子们学会爱,理解爱,表达爱。

教学难点:

1.学生在故事情境中了解故事所讲内容,并能用简单的英语描述故事内容。

2.理解母爱的伟大。

设计理念:通过创设情境,使学生自然地融入到绘本学习中。设计不同难度的活动,使不同层次的学生都能得到提高。

教具准备:头饰,兔子玩偶,卡片,课件。

教学流程:

Step1:Pre-reading

Activity1: Brain storm

Activity2: Let’s dance!

Activity3: Group competition

Step2: While-reading

Activity1: Listen and answer (Skimming)

T: Listen to the tape, and then try to answer:

What animals does Zoe meet on her way to look for her mum?

Activity2: Scanning

Learning tip: while reading, you can write the new words down on the bookmark. Scan and answer (Talk in pairs):

1. What does the penguin say?

2. What does the zebra say?

3. What does the tortoise say?

4. What does the dog say?

5. How does the bear mum treat Zoe?

6. What do they do to other animals?

7. At last, what happened to Zoe and her bear mum?

Activity3: Check the students’ bookmarks.

Activity1: Read after the tape

Activity2: Super brain time

Put the pictures in order. (Work in groups)

Activity3: Show time: choose your favorite scene to act it out.
