(Learning about Language)

一、学情分析：

本课的教学对象是高一学生，学生经过对之前阅读课和语言点的学习，已经很熟悉琥珀屋的历史发展过程，对琥珀屋的历史相关的词汇也有初步的了解，本节课是在前节课的基础上，通过对课文的词汇和句型的呈现，熟练掌握语言表达的技巧。

二、教学目标：

知识目标：复习琥珀屋的发展历史，并学会熟练运用以下英文词汇：cultural, rare, valuable, survive, in search of, amaze, amazing, select, design, fancy, style, decorate, belong to, in return, at war, remove, less than, doubt, former等。

技能目标：能够根据英文意思猜测单词词义；提高学生的翻译能力。

能力目标：学会自主学习与小组合作学习。

价值观目标：培养学生对文化的重视和保护意识。

三、重点难点：

重点：训练学生夯实掌握本单元重点词汇；培养学生熟练的英汉互译能力。

难点：通过英文意思写出正确的英文单词；提高学生的英汉互译能力。

四、教学策略与手段：

本节课主要采用“任务型”的教学模式，分两个任务完成，“略读”任务要求学生

划出各段的概括句并理解全文大意；“详读”任务，根据时间线分别设计了完成句子、和表格填空

课文语法填空等题型。其次，安排学生开展“合作型”学习，包括课前的PPT制作和课上的小组讨

论。教学手段主要有多媒体平台教学和学生自学与讨论。

五、课前准备：

学生的学习准备：熟记单词；完成课文的复习练习。

教师的教学准备：教授单词；备课，制作课件；与有资深教师讨论，进行备课调整。

教学环境的设计与布置：调整多媒体平台的可视效果。

教学用具的设计与准备：制作课件，整理教案和学案。

六、教学过程：

Step 2 Grammar: Attributive Clause

Task 1: Finish Ex. 3 (on P4) Join the pair of sentences using attributive clauses (restrictive or non-restrictive) 【设计思路】本小节通过将简单句合并成定语从句，有助于学生进一步掌握定语从句的关联词的正确使用，同时形成复合句的合并意思，有助于学生在写作中加以应用。

Task 2: Finish Ex. 4 (on P4) Complete the sentences by adding the restrictive and non-restrictive attributive clauses. 【设计思路】本小节设计的是半开放题型，有助于学生发挥自主想象力，同时将定语从句的结构进行巩固应用。

Task 3：Practice: Fill in the blanks. 【设计思路】本小节通过定语从句的经典例句填空练习，帮助学生熟悉语法填空题型，再次强化学生对定语从句关联词的掌握。

Task 4: Correct the mistakes: 【设计思路】本小节通过改错的形式，帮助学生熟悉定从在改错题型中的考查方向。
