Book2 Unit3 Computers Reading--Who Am I

The topic of this unit is computer.Computers are very important in everyday life and all the students need to be familiar with them.The passage we will learn in this class is a short history of the development of computers.It introduces a lot of new and technical words,which are difficult for the students.But it used the first person to tell the story ,which will stimulate the interest of the students.There are three paragraphs in this passage,the passage is written in time order and the first sentence in each paragraph is the topic sentence.So it is a good chance to practice students’ ability of finding out the topic sentence and to summarize the main idea of the text.Students can also improve their other reading skills.such as fasting reading to get general ideas,careful reading to get detailed information,discussing to have a further understanding .

本节课的话题——计算机，学生很熟悉，用智能机器人小黄人分拣包裹的视频导入能迅速引起学生

整体的兴趣，再让他们谈一谈是如何在日常生活中使用电脑的，让学生初步感知并了解网络的作用。恰当地设计思路

导入课文并激发学生的学习兴趣和强烈的求知欲。在阅读过程中，给予学生一些阅读技巧上的指导，帮助更好的理解文章，同时也训练了学生的阅读技能。通过不同形式的任务（选择，填空、回答问题、连线等），加深对课文细节部分的理解。然后让学生以第一人称来复述课文，再次巩固本节课所学内容。最后让学生讨论中学生使用电脑的有利和不利之处，以便于他们对电脑的使用有一个正确的认识。

教学环节与设计: Step 1:Lead-in

Watch a small video about how the smart yellow robot helps sort out our parcel and ask the students to think about why they were used and what is used to control them, lead in the topic. [设计意图] 过了一个周末，周一学生往往还没有很好的进入学习状态，所以用小黄人分拣包裹的视频可以快速吸引他们的注意力并且导入本节课的话题--computers. Step 2.Pre-reading Ask the students to talk about in what ways computers are used today? [设计意图] 计算机在我们的日常生活中占据着极其重要的位置，学生们都对其比较熟悉，因此，可以利用这个问题，让学生初步感知并了解网络的作用。恰当地导入课文并激发学生的学习兴趣和强烈的求知欲，在学生有了阅读的动机这种氛围下，他们的思维活跃，阅读效率将会大大提高。

本文共分3个段落，以时间为顺序说明计算机的发展历史，且每段的第一句话均为该段落的主题句。这种结构的语篇非常适合用来启发和引导学生寻找段落的主题句，并进一步归纳文章主旨大意。同时配以适当的练习，帮助学生归纳总结出方法，在练习中运用这些方法，从而提升对语篇的全局意识，增强对语篇的解题能力。

[设计意图]

这个环节是本节课的重点也是难点，学生通过上面的阅读任务已经基本掌握了本节课所讲课文的基本内容。上面的填空可能对他们来说问题不大，比较困难的就是如何连词成句，连句成篇，让他们顺利的复述出文章的内容，即电脑的发展史及它的用途。所以这一部分一定要给学生留足时间并且领着他们多复述两遍. [设计意图]本环节主要是让学生通过讨论中学生使用电脑的有利之处和不利之处，让他们明白凡事都有两面性，电脑即使再有用，如果我们不能合理的去使用它，那它也会给我们的生活和学习带来很大的负面影响。所以要鼓励他们合理使用电脑。从而实现教学和德育相结合。

写作任务是客观地介绍本次讨论的情况,它有助于激发学生的写作积极性,同时养成说写相结合的习惯，从而提高了综合运用语言的能力。
