一、教学内容分析

本单元围绕英语幽默开展教学活动, 在有前面Warming up, Reading 等几个课时的教学铺垫后，学生对英语幽默的形式有了一定的了解，本课时的教学目标在于通过结合Listening ,Speaking, Writing 几种英语技能加深学生对另外一种英语幽默形式Short Funny Story的学习。在教学中同时穿插对学生英语听力技能中的预测技能，口语交际，及写作能力的培养。

二、学情分析

教学对象为高二学生，学生英语基础相对较好，能够较好地开展现场的Speaking 和Writing训练。但由于学生可能对写小故事的方法和步骤不是很熟悉，所以在教学写作部分安排了一个范文篇章结构的分析，然后让学生模仿写作。

三、教学目标

Let students : 1.Be able to master the listening skill of “prediction”

2.Be able to know how to express their opinions. 3.Be able to write a short “funny story”

4.Learn to cooperate with classmates 5.To love humor and face life positively.

Step4 Listening to part 1

1.Play the listening material and ask students to focus on the main idea. 2.To choose the main idea

Play the audio material again and ask students to focus on the key points of the story and finish Ex 2)

Ask students to brainstorm as many as answers to Q1and Q2to predict (1)

Ask students to put the sentences in order to have a good prediction . Check the answer
