Step 1: Lead-in

1.Review the verb tenses they have learned in junior school. 2.Look at the following sentence, paying attention to the underlined part. 3. Can you pick out more than two sentences in the present perfect passive voice from the reading passage? 设计意图：通过复习初中学过的被动语态，把知识衔接自然到本节课学习的内容，并让学生自己发现和总结语法结构，培养学生分析问题和归纳问题的能力。

Complete the passage with the words. 设计意图：穿插这个单元的词汇学习，使学生掌握这个单元的重点词汇和派生词的用法。

Students try to do the exercise 2 on page 21, then teacher give guidance and check. 设计意图：对于这些来自农村的学生，他们的学习缺乏语言环境，通常课堂学习的东西都是“纸上谈兵”，所以要增加练习加强巩固所学内容。
