本课是新标准英语（三年级起始）四年级上册第一模块第一单元的内容。本

模块教学主题是“Directions”。本节课教学内容是与方向有关的句子和问路的礼貌用语。本课的教学对象是四年级学生，这些学生大多活泼好动,具有一定的会话能力。因此，教师在教学中试图通过创设贴近学生生活实际的教学情境、有真实交流意义的操练活动去吸引学生，激发他们的学习兴趣，帮助学生在感知、体验和参与中习得语言知识，促进思维能力的发展，提升语言运用能力。

一、教学目标

1.学生能够听说、认读表示方位的词组turn left/turn right/go straight on,学

习运用句型“Where's ...?”。

2.学生能运用句型“Where's ...?”“turn left/turn right/go straight on”问

路和指路。

3.培养学生讲礼貌的品质，请人帮忙要用“Excuse me ......,please.”礼貌用

语，培养学生乐于助人的感情。

二、教学重难点

1.教学重点：left / right/ straight的正确发音,会说、理解并掌握句子“Turn left. Turn right. Go straight on.

2.教学难点：运用句型“Where's ...?”“turn left/turn right/go straight on”

问路和指路。

三、教具准备

单词图片、词卡，句子卡片、多媒体课件、

学习单等。

四、教学过程

Step 1Warm up 1. Greetings

2. Game: Sharp eyes.

(1)Ss look at the pictures and say the words: zoo, school, park.

(2)Lead in new words: cinema, supermarket (super+man=superman super+ market=supermarket) Step 2 Presentation
