一、教材分析
本课是新标准英语(一年级起点)六年级下册的课程。本节课的主要内容是运用句型What do you want to eat /drink?进行点餐,本节课教师尽量让学生们能在点餐的情境中运用所学进行问答活动。
二、学情分析
本单元的学习主要是进行点餐并询问价钱的活动。六年级的学生已有一定的独立性、合作性和创新性。尤其在M1U1的课文中也练习了价钱的提问等,因此本课主要是复习,巩固,提高和拓展的过程。
部分学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,掌握了一些英、美国家日常生活中的不同传统特点,如节日、饮食等。但大部分学生在创造性和创新性地运用课文知识上,受到词汇量和信息量的局限。
教师要调动学生已有的知识储备,调动学生学习的积极性,为学生创设语言情境,以学生个体的实际情况和兴趣为出发点,为学生梳理知识,让学生系统掌握,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
三、教学目标
㈠语言知识
⒈能复习巩固单词hot dog, cashier, soup, dollar, cent, enjoy, meal。
⒉能听说读用句子What do you want to eat? What do you want to drink? I want ... How much is it? It’s ...dollars and ... cents. ㈡语言技能
能运用句子What do you want to eat / drink? I want ... How much is it? It’s ... 进行问答练习,用英语点餐并询问价格。
㈢情感态度
能够对外国的饮食文化感兴趣;养成不挑食的好习惯。
四、教学重点
⒈能复习巩固单词hot dog, cashier, soup, dollar, cent, enjoy, meal。

七、教学过程
ⅠWarm-up and lead-in
⒈Greetings. T: Good morning, children! S: Good morning, Sophie! ⒉Sing a song. (Activity Four) T: Let’s sing the song “What do you want to eat?” together. ⒊ Review the words in unit one. hot dog, cashier, soup, dollar, cent, enjoy, meal (学生到白板上点击气球操作)
⒋Free talk and say a chant. T: What do you want? S: I want a / an / some ... T: What do you want? S: XXX 设计意图:教师播放视频,学生跟唱。围绕第一课的内容,与学生进行生活化的交流。教师尽量增加话轮,激发学生想说英语的积极性;教师准备图片让学生选择回答教师的问题,引导学生回忆食物的单词,为本课的练习做铺垫。
ⅡTask Presentation ⒈Guessing game. T: Children, can you guess “What do I want to eat?”
S: ... Sausage. ⒉Declare. Today let’s learn Module 1 Unit 2 What do you want to eat? T: Well, after this lesson, I wish you can talk about the things you want to eat and drink. And talk about their price. 评价方式:I’ve got some dollars. If you do a very good job, I will give some to you, and you can use them to buy the things you want to eat and drink. 设计意图:引导学生明确本课的学习任务:谈论自己想要的吃的东西和喝的东西,并谈论价格。评价方式的介绍,也能提高学生对本课的学习兴趣和活动的参与积极性。
ⅢText Learning ⒈Watch the viedo and answer. T: Where are they? Ss: They are in a restaurant. 设计意图:学生第一次听课文,通过回答主线问题来整体感知、把握课文。
⒉ Listen, repeat and discuss. ●What do Lingling and her dad want to eat? Lingling:I want a hamburger.
Dad:I want noodles. ●What do Lingling and her dad want to drink? Lingling:I want milk. Dad:I want a cola. 设计意图:跟读课文,寻找课文的细节信息。通过回答问题,了解Lingling和Dad点的吃的东西和喝的东西,为接下来的训练奠定基础。
提醒同学们注意a hamburger和milk可数名词和不可数名词

⒊ Listen and repeat again. (此次教师重在纠音。) 设计意图:再次跟读课文,引导学生在课文学习以后再次整体感知课文。与前面两次听音形成总-分-总的学习方式。此次跟读教师的重点在于纠正学生的语音、语调。
⒋Role play. T:让我们一起表演课文。
设计意图:根据人物关系设定,教师准备道具,学生小组为单位进行课文复述练习。加强学生对课文信息、语言点、知识点的巩固。
Ⅳ Practice ⒈ Group match.(接龙比赛)Group 1 and Group 2. T: What do you want to eat? S1: I want a hot dog. What do you want to eat? S2: I want a hot dog and an egg. What do you want to eat? S3: I want a hog dog, an egg and some apples. What do you want to eat? ... 设计意图:教师设计小组问答接力游戏,目的是引导学生在有趣的游戏中巩固练习句型What do you want to eat?以及在回答的时候积累所学的表示食物的单词,巩固练习单复数,为任务完成环节做铺垫。
⒉ Find out the food and make a dialogue. Cashier: Can I help you? Customer: I want ______. How much is it? Cashier: It’s ____________. Customer: Here you are. Cashier: Thank you. Here’s your food. Enjoy your meal. 设计意图:教师引导学生到白板利用橡皮擦寻找课件中的三个食物,分别引导学生师生对话、生生对话、小组对话等形式进行练习,为下文的任务完成环节做语篇上的铺垫。
Ⅴ Task Completion
⒈ Who says. Cashier Customer All our food is very nice. I want noodles, please. Here’s your food. Can I have some soup? Enjoy your meal. How much is it? Welcome to our restaurant. Can I help you? What can I do for you? 设计意图:教师准备了一些在购物情境中常用的语言,多是书本中没有出现的,引导学生将语言进行分类,板书在黑板上,目的是方便学生在任务完成环节能够灵活使用相应句子,创新对话内容。
⒉ Make up a dialogue. Food Drinks hot dog 4.5 cola 2.5 noodles 7 juice 3 bread 1.5 milk 3.5 hamburger 6.5 tea 2.5 sausage 3.5 coffee 4.5
设计意图:引导学生将本节课所学的知识与生活实际结合在一起,灵活地运用。从学生的生活实际出发,让孩子对这个话题更感兴趣,教师适时的提问,可以激发学生想说英语的欲望。
Ⅵ Summary and Homework ⒈ Summary. 2. Homework. 必做: 和小伙伴一起编一个购物的对话吧。
选做: 班级举办一次跳蚤大会,运用所学语句购买自己喜欢的物品吧。
