2.理解: This bird is bigger/smaller than the first one.

3.能观察比较事物的大小、高矮、长短。

4能运用形容词构成比较级和最高级的基本规则。

二、重点难点

1、听懂并会说:Tom’s hair is shorter than Mike’s,

2、比较级和最高级的用法。

Step 1 . Warming Up

1、Greetings.

2、Review：

（1）.课件依次闪现几只不同颜色的鸟，T:Which bird is blue/red/yellow/white?复习序数词和颜色类单词。

（2）.复习词汇：big small tall short long

3、由简单的句子引入比较级

Step 2. Presentation and Drills

1、老师用课件或卡片呈现四只鸟，引出单词big ,bigger ,biggest. T:Which bird is bigger ,the first one or the second one?

2、用类似的方法导入small—smaller—

smallest tall—taller—tallest, short—shorter—shortest Long—longer--longest

3、Learn Part A.

第一步：听录音，回答问题（自主学习）

How many clay birds did he make?

第二步：听录音，填空（自主学习）

S3:Tiger is bigger than dog..

S4:Bear is bigger than tiger.

3.请小组上台展示
