一、

教学分析

1.

学生分析

本课的教学对象是六年级学生，经过前三年的英语学习，他们已掌握了一定的英语阅读能力，通过对本节故事课的学习将进一步培养学生的阅读策略，提高阅读能力，激发学习兴趣，提高学习效率。

2. 教材分析

本课是单元的一节故事课，故事内容关于Helen Keller的故事，放在单元结束的部分，作为这一单元的巩固和补充，帮助学生内化新知识点，培养学生的英语阅读兴趣和初步的阅读能力。

二、教学目标分析

知识与技能目标：

学生能在图片和老师的帮助下听懂并理解故事。

学生能回答关于这个故事的一些问题。

学生能在板书和老师引导下用自己的话复述故事。

学生通过本课能够学习Helen Keller身残志坚、乐观向上、永不放弃、努力拼搏的精神，以Helen Keller为榜样，从而形成乐观积极向上的生活和学习态度。

教学重点：学生能在图片和老师的帮助下听懂并理解故事。

学生能回答关于这个故事的一些问题。

教学难点：学生能在板书和老师引导下用自己的话复述故事。

五、教学过程设计

Step1：Pre-reading

1. Greeting. 2. Lead-in（播放Helen Keller名言）

1. T: First, I will show you a quote by a great lady. Please enjoy! (Ask 1-2students read this quote.) 【设计意图】：

通过播放Helen Keller名言，让学生模仿跟读，从而激发学生兴趣。

2.T: What do you want to know about this lady? You can ask any questions you want.

Ss: What’s her name? Where’s she from? How old...? ...

贴出Helen图片，让学生对Helen 进行自由发问，激发学生对故事主人公的好奇心。

Step1：While-reading 1.图1（出示图1，播放录音）

1).T:Who’s she? Ss: Helen Keller. T: Where’s from? And when was she born? Ss : The U.S. in 1880.

T: Follow me! Helen Keller was born in the U.S. in 1880.

【设计意图】：

通过听录音，让学生了解Helen的基本信息，然后通过图片，句子讲解图1的生词born, deaf, blind,更直观形象生动。

2). T: Close your eyes and draw a picture on your paper. T: How do you feel? Ss: Sad/ mad/ angry ... T: Angry! What’s the meaning of angry? What will you do when you feel angry? Ss:... T: Look, what can you see in the picture?

Ss: I can see some food on the floor.

I can see Helen is crying.

... T: Maybe, Helen got angry.

【设计意图】：

让孩子们闭眼画画，体验Helen的感受。睁开眼睛后，让孩子们说说自己的感觉, 并谈论自己生气的时候会做哪些事情。为学习图2-3Helen生气时的感受做铺垫。

2.图2-3，听录音回答问题。

1). Q1:Did her parents know how to help her? Q2:Why did Helen often get angry? She couldn’t see anything.

She couldn’t hear anything.

She couldn’t speak at all.（教师进行朗读指导，让学生感受渐强的语气。）

2). T: Helen often got angry, and sometimes, she threw her food from the table. Threw

threw (领读两遍)，throw- threw(点出该处一般过去式不规则变化) 3. 图4-5

1). Read P4-5silently and answer.

T: Who could help Helen? Ss: Anne Sullivan(教师教读发音) T:（出示第三张贴图)

Look at the picture, who are they? Ss: Helen and her teacher Anne Sullivan.

Let’s watch how Anne Sullivan taught Helen words.(播放网络资源视频,让学生更直观地感受Anne教Helen学习的不易，以及Helen自身努力的精神。) T: Was it easy or hard to teach Helen words? What do you think of Anne Sullivan? 【设计意图】：通过问题的提出引导学生运用寻读方法找出答案,利用网络资源，丰富课堂内容，有助于学生理解故事情节。

2). Read P4&5 again, then judge and correct . (

4: 图6-7 1). Read P6&7 carefully and underline answers. Q1: What did Helen begin to do from that day on? Q2: What did Helen learn? Q3: What did Helen become at last?(阅读之前找一名学生先读问题。) 讲解问题答案过程中，引出University, writer等词汇，结合图片进行解释，帮助学生理解记忆。

T: As a writer, Helen wrote many books. One of her famous book is this one, The Story of My Life. Helen was a famous and great writer and her story gives everyone hope. Step 3: Post-reading
