Teaching Design 本节课主要是引导学生并掌握从语篇视角去关注完形填空，具体体现在四个层面：背景知识，情感态度，逻辑关系及句式结构。为了实现这一目的，从三个层面去突破，1、通过高考真题的练习让学生去探索发现解决问题的线索，去体验这四个层面是怎么在试题中表面出来；2、运用所学在语段中去解决问题，巩固技巧，并去感悟这四个层面在文章的具体体现；3、通过对高考真题的完整文本进行实战演练，学生内化吸收所学技巧。

The teaching aims: After the class, students will be able to

To master some skills about how to do cloze tests and consolidate these skills. 2.

To explore the clues about how to find the solution and experience how to use these skills in the context. The important points: Help the students get the hang of some approaches about how to do cloze tests well. The difficult points: 1.

how to encourage students to get involved in class activities. 2.

how to cultivate students’

critical thinking ability and cooperation learning. The teaching procedures

Step 1 Warming-up 1.

show a picture to lead to the topic and present some easy exercise. 2.

Ask Ss to think about why the cloze tests are so difficult and why they often lose scores in this part. Step 2 Self -exploration 1.

Give Ss four tasks and ask Ss to think about the reasons why they choose this answer and try to find some evidence in the context. . 2.

Allow Ss to discuss the answers in a group and volunteer to give answers. 3.

Ask Ss to analyze the answers to summarize the clues. Step 3 Consolidation Present some relevant exercise to check whether Ss have mastered these approaches when doing the cloze tests and whether they can learn to do it from a global view Step 4 Application Present a whole passage and ask Ss do it themselves and then check answers. Step 5 Homework Do some cloze tests from a global view.
