Story time 教学目标：

1、知识目标：（1）能认读单词goalkeeper，excellent

（2）能复习巩固句型

（3）能通过图片和上下文能理解句子I’d like to have a try. He can’t catch the ball. Football needs teamwork. 2、能力目标：（1）、能理解故事内容

（3）、能表演故事，还能恰当运用故事中的语言

3、情感目标：培养学生学习英语的积极态度和对自己的自信，善于发现自己的优势，发展自己的长处，学会团结合作的精神。

教学重点：（1）能够通过观看视频、听录音等方式理解故事内容

（2）能够在视频、录音及教师的指导下按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读故事

教学难点：能够自信地与同学表演故事，还能恰当运用故事中的语言

教学过程：

Review T: Everyone, please look at my hand. Can you tell me What it is?

S: It’s a football. T: Right. Do you like playing football? S: Yes, I can./ No, I can’t. T: Look at the picture. There are some famous football players. Do you know them?

T: Who is he? Do you know him? S: He’s Beckham. T: Good.

T introduces Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. T:They’re excellent(优秀的）football player.

T teaches excellent. T: let’s play a game. Look at my book. When it goes down, you sit down. When it goes up, you stand up and say “excellent”. Are you clear? S: Yes! T: OK. Let’s go for it! T: Look over this man. What’s his job in the team? S: 守门员

T: He’s a goalkeeper(守门员).

T teaches goalkeeper. T: Zoom and Zip also like playing football. They have a football club. Look! There is a poster about the football club. What is it? Let’s see together. (The poster was put up on the board.）

The poster: We want a goalkeeper!!

T: Today we’re going to learn Part C Story time. Please open your books and turn to page11.

T: What animals do you see? S: Giraffe, zebra, deer, dog and hippo. T: You’re right. And our old friends Zip and Zoom. T: What are they doing? S: They’re playing football. T: Now let’s watch the cartoon. You’re supposed to answer the questions. 1.

Watch the cartoon T: Who wants to be a goalkeeper?

S: Zebra, Deer, Giraffe and Dog. T: Who can become the goalkeeper at last? S: Hippo. 2.

Look the pictures T shows the first picture and teaches the sentences. T: I’d like to have a try. T: Now let’s play a game. Everyone, show me your hands. The first one of a group says “I’d” and claps next one. Then next one says “like” and

claps the next student. The final student put hands up and say “Bingo”. Do you understand? T: Well. The first group, I’ll teach you how to play. Let’s have a try. OK? S: OK. T and S Play the game and practise the sentence “I’d like

to have a try”.

T shows the second picture and teaches the sentences. T: Who can be the goalkeeper? Let’s go and have a look. T: The first one is Mr Deer. Mr Deer is tall and strong. T shows the third picture and teaches the sentences. T:OK. Mr.Zebra.Oh ,look!He is 10centimeters taller than Mr Deer. Is he stronger? Yes. He is stronger. Can he become the goalkeeper? Why? S:No, he can’t. T teaches the sentence “he can’t catch the ball” in the same way. T shows the fourth picture and teaches the sentences. T: Mr Giraffe, Is he OK? Why? S: No, he can’t.

T teaches the sentence “Football needs teamwork” in the same way. T shows the fifth and sixth picture and teaches the sentences. S listen to the whole story and read after the tape. Step3 Post-reading Role-play T: Look at the screen. You’re supposed to finish the task.

1.Pick your favorite character. Get into groups and practise the conversation. (选择喜欢的角色，分小组练习对话）

2. Come to the platform. Act out the story sections. （到讲台上表演小故事片段）

T: You’ll get 2 minutes to practise with your partners. Start! T: Time’s up. Any volunteers? T acts out a role in the first scene. Then T encourages more students to act out the story sections.
