【教学目标】

1、能听、说、认读单词：race, nothing, thought, felt, cheetah, trip, woke, dream 2、能听懂、会说句子：There were many animals in that race. But suddenly he tripped and fell. 3、能听懂，读懂小短文，并能完成相应的练习。

【教学重点】

1.词汇与短语:had a race, ran very fast, nothing, thought, said, give, felt, cheetah, tripped, fell, woke up. 2.能够按照正确的语音、语调和语气朗读文本。

3.能够根据要求，针对课文完成读后的阅读理解检测及书写任务。

【教学难点】

掌握并熟练使用文中出现的重点句型。提高英语思维和英语会话能力。

【教学过程】

Step 1:warm-up & Revision Greeting.师生互相问候。

Step 2: Lead in (导入新课) T：I had a dream last night?Do you know dream?教学单词dream。

在课件上出示动物们比赛的图片。描述动物。追问：What animal can run very fast? Ss: 猎豹

T: Yes, It’s cheetah.(教授新词cheetah) Step 3: Presentation 1.Then the cheetah wanted to have a race with me,but the cheetah can run fast,I’m slow,slow,slow.How did I feel?

2.Pre-reading Look and say

（1）课件呈现吴一凡在床上睡觉的图片，引出做梦的情境。

（2）课件出示课本三幅插图，请学生猜猜吴一凡在梦里梦到了什么？

引出主题：Wu Yifan had a dream about the race.(教授新词

dream ,并操练句型

I had a dream about the _____ .) 3.While-reading

(1).Read the text by yourself，answer the questions: 1)How many races?

2)How do you know that? (2)Read silently. 1)Who did he run with in the first race? 2)Could Wu Yifan run fast? 3)How do you know that? (3)Let’s have a look what happened in the second race?(Fast reading) Who did he run with in the second race? Why Wu Yifan could run fast in the second race? Number the pictures.（看图片，按照课文内容给图片正确排序。）

（3）Listen, repeat and read. （4）Read and analyze the text.（师生共同赏读文章，学生可以在这个环节提出疑惑，全班同学一起解决问题，教师进行补充。）

4. After-reading

(1).Finish the text.（帮助Wu Yifan完成空格上的内容，将对话补充完整。）
