、课前准备 (Teaching Aids) pictures ,VCD 五、教学步骤 (Teaching procedures) 1、热身 (Warm-up) Review the lesson7&8 2、新课导入 (Presentation) 1)T: Every day we can get a lot of people’ s help, such as our mothers’ , fathers’ , teachers ’ , friends ’ and some other people ’ s help. But today we ’ ll learn to be volunteers to help people on the street. Do you want to do it? 2) 图片创设情境整体输出短语,语速放慢并配以指示动作,方便学生理解感知 T:Yang Ming want to go to Xinhua Bookshop. where is it? S: Go down this street. turn right at the traffic lights. The bookshop is on the left. He must cross the street. He can get to the bookshop. 3)再次指示,引导学生尝试去说,适时的给予单词发音的指导和纠正。

4)出示 DVD 课件,请学生认真听并大致找出关键处(例如:place , how long) 5) 再次播放课件, 让学生熟悉录音材料。

可以带上如下问题去听第二遍:T :what ’ s in the picture? Who are the girls ? what are they talking about? Have a guess. 听完后尝试回答,并集体讨论。

6) 第三次播放, Q1:who is new in the community? Q2: when did Lisa move here? Q3:where is lisa going? Q4:How will lisa go there? Q5:Does Kate know the way ?

趣味练习practise: 1.

聚焦目标语言，逐一呈现理解，用图线在黑板上表示路线，用英语进行表达，学生模仿教师对路线进行表达。
