Step1 Warm-up
1、Greetings Good morning , boys and girls. 2、Review 1) Let’s begin our class. First, Let’s play a game. ‘I do you say’. run swim jump win 2) Let’s review the simple future tense. The subject: ‘人+be +going to+要做的事+时间地点或其它’. For E.g. :
run I am going to run. Are you going to run? Look at the ppt; make similar sentences with the words. (出示动词,让学生说出一般将来时形式并造句,通过这种游戏形式把学生的注意力迅速吸引到英语课堂中,既复习了一些已学动词以及将来时的句子,又为后面的学习和运用作好铺垫。)

Let’s chant together. T:I am going to run fast on sports day. Are you going to run with me? Are you …….? (引出目标句型练习并合唱chant,活跃课堂气氛) T: You did a good job! Clap your hands for yourselves! Step II. (自由谈话,引出运动会) T: Today, we are going to learn Module 9 Unit 1 Are you going to run on sport day? (板书课题,读课题) In fact, Daming is going to run on sports day. Now, let’s go and have a look. (导入课文) Step III Text learning T:Ok now, open your books and turn to page 50. 1、Listen to the tape and circle the new words.(听录音,整体感知课文)
2、Read the text by yourselves, then try to understand the new words .(自读课文,理解生单词)
3、Learn the new words 1) Learn to read and try to understand the meanings. 2) Help students memorize the words. (出示图片帮学生理解单词,教师正音并领读,做小游戏鼓励学生在课堂上记忆所学新词)
4、Listen to the tape again, then answer the questions. 1)看第一遍课文录像,回答问题: Is Daming going to run on sports day? ①

【设计意图】回归课本,完整的听、读课文,系统掌握课文内容。
6、Listen to the tape and read after it. Find the key sentences. (跟读课文,同桌相互交流,找出主要句子)
7、Retell the text. Look at the pictures and use the key words to talk about them.
(借助图片进行课文复述,既提高了学生对本课的理解记忆速度,又调动了学生积极参与学习热情。让学生在活动中充分体验完成任务后喜悦之情。)
Step IV. Practice and show time 1、Practise:think and judge; write the words. 2、Ask and answer. Use: ‘Are you going to ……? Yes/No, I’m going to……’
