五、Teaching steps: Step 1. Warm-up

1. Greetings and free talk. 2. Listen to an English song and talk about the weather by using some words. Step 2. Presentation and practice. 1. Listen to a chant. Then write the key words on the blackboard: rain, snow, sunny, cloudy 2. Teach the sentence patterns and have them know about the different express to describe the weather in the future. “It will rain in Beijing. It will be cloudy in Harbin.”

3. Look at questions on the screen about the activity2. Then let’s listen to the weather forecast of the tape and answer these questions.

4. Circle the key words and the sentences. 5. Read the sentences together. 6. Let Ss do the exercises. a. Look and choose. b. Look and write on the book. Then ask the children to ask and answer in pairs. Step 3. Consolidation 1.
