Lesson 11

一、教学目标

（一）、知识与技能目标：

1.能初步运用“Can you tell me the way to .. ?”向他人问路，并用“Please …on, and then .. ”给他人指路。

2.能够听懂、认读

gas station, fire station, restaurant, cinema, museum, supermarket等场所类词汇，及drive on, walk on, turn left, turn right, at the corner等短语。

3.能够分角色朗读对话，并尝试创编相同话题的对话。

（二）、过程与方法目标：

1.通过听读课文，在情境中理解对话内容，学习掌握本课单词、短语。

2.通过学习对话，掌握问路与指路的功能句型。

3.通过创设不同新情境，创编不同对话，运用所学的功能句型进行问路与指路。

（三）、情感态度与价值观目标。

帮助学生形成礼貌问路、热心助人的好习惯。

二、重点难点

教学重点：1.本课的单词与短语。

2.问路与指路的功能句型。

教学难点：学生在实际情境中运用所学的功能句型，进行指路和问路。

四、教学过程

（一）Warming-up

活动1【导入】Revision 课前五分钟

看图片，学生自主发言，进行看图说话。

Review the words of places. Ask the way and answer it.

(1) Ask the way. ---Where’s …”

---Where can I find …?

---Can you tell me the way to …?

（二）Presentation and practice 活动2【讲授】New

learning

1. Listen and say. T: I will show you a flash later, you need to answer my questions after that. Where does the woman want to go? --- A gas station 2. Learning the dialogues. ①

Listen and repeat. 学生活动：listen, anwser and repeat 3. Practice. ①

Role play. Read the dialogues ②

A guessing game. Student will get some pictures and words, guess where is the place. ③

Make new dialogues. Students will get six words and one student should send them into six groups, and remember each group’s word, someone will ask the way. A: Can you tell me the way to the…?

B:Sure. Please … on, and then turn...at the … corner.

A:I see. I should…and then…

B:Yes, the… is on your … . You can’t miss it.

（三）Production 活动3【活动】

Each group will get a picture and everyone will get a paper with these words: A: Can you tell me the way to the…?

B:Sure. Please … on, and then turn...at the … corner.

A:I see. I should…and then…

B:Yes, the… is on your … . You can’t miss it.

Student practice first and then try to act the dialogue. 2.

Summary

What have we learnt today? How to ask the way. How to tell some others way.

Ask：

Excuse me, can you tell me the way to … .

Answer: Please drive / walk on first, and then turn… at the … corner. It’s on your right / left.
