●知识与技能

1.能识别并正确朗读国际音标/ ɑ: /,/ ʌ /, 知晓其在单词中的正确发音。

2.能用核心词汇write an e-mail, go shopping, play chess, once a week, twice a year进行描述并书写,掌握其音、形、义;并能用动词词组go on an outing, eat Double Ninth

cakes, visit old people, go to see flower shows , visit grandparents描述重阳节的活动。

3.能理解并运用核心句型“How often ...? What do you do with …? I … (do) … (how often) with …”对多久去看望祖父母,和他们一起所做的事情进行询问、回答并进行描述。

4.能在句型结构的框架下,较为熟练的运用本单元的核心词汇和核心句型描述自己和祖父母的活动。

●过程与方法

1.通过视听问答、信息搜集、自主阅读、小组讨论等形式学习本单元的核心词汇与句型。

2.通过对话、朗读、交流、表演等方式,对自己或他人和祖父母的活动进行询问、回答以及描述,并在实际生活中加以运用。

3.能认真倾听,积极思考,通过合作、交流完成语用任务。

●情感、态度、价值观

在谈论与祖父母活动的任务中,体验重阳节的内涵和意义,领略如何尊敬老人,懂得感恩,懂得并不仅仅在重阳节去看望祖父母,而要每一天都关爱他们。

Period 2: 在The special day for our grand-parents的语境中,借助朗读诗歌、朗读儿歌、制作信息卡等方式,运用核心语言,至少用7-8句话介绍敬老节的时间、活动及意义。要求内容达意,表达较流畅,词法语法基本正确。

Period 3: 在The unforgettable visit with my grandparents的语境中,通过角色扮演、情景再现等方式,学生至少能够9-10句话简单演绎故事情节。要求内容达意,表达流畅,词法句法正确。

Period 4: 在The love plan for our grandparents的语境中,借助诗歌朗读、小组合作等方式,运用核心词汇和核心句型进行表达。要求内容完整,表达流畅,词法句法正确。

1.能通过对话、问答、交流、描述等方式介绍看望祖父母的频度,及与他们一起所做的事情。

2.能通过图片、文本等理解对话,分角色朗读巩固所学词汇与文本。

通过询问与祖辈之间的互动和联系,使学生懂得尊重长辈,并学会用实际行动来关爱老人。

【教学文本】

Our grandparents are old, but they are kind and nice. They do a lot for us. When we are tired, they sing songs for us. When we are hungry, they cook food for us. Our grandparents are happy to be with us. We play games together. We go shopping together. We do a lot of things together. These are the happy moments for all of us.

Miss Fang is asking the children about their happy moments with their grandparents. Miss Fang: Do you live with your grandparents, Kitty?

Kitty: Yes, I do.

Miss Fang: What do you usually do with your grandparents?

Kitty: We watch TV together and chat with each other.

Miss Fang: Is it the happy moment for you?

Kitty: Yes, of course.

Miss Fang: I think so.

Danny, do you live with your grandparents?

Danny: No, I don’t live with my grandparents.

Miss Fang: Do they live in Shanghai?

Danny: Yes, they do.

Miss Fang: Mm… how often do you visit them?

Danny: I visit them once a week. I always visit them at weekends.

Miss Fang: That sounds good. What do you often do with them?

Danny : We often go to the park and sometimes I play chess with my grandpa.

Miss Fang: Do you feel happy at that moment?

Danny : Yes, we are all happy.

Miss Fang: What about you, Peter?

Peter : My grandparents don’t live with us. They live in Beijing.

Mis s Fang: Oh, it’s far from Shanghai. How often do you visit them?

Peter : Twice a year. But I often write e-mails to them. Sometimes I talk to them on the Internet. Miss Fang: Pretty good. What is the happy moment when you get together?

Peter: My grandparents always show me around the city and sometimes they take me to Quanjude Restaurant.

Miss Fang: Wow, Beijing Roast Duck. I love it. I think that’s the happy moment for you.

Peter: I think so.

As we can see, our grandparents are just like our best friends. No matter they live with us or not, in the same city or different cities even different countries, we all have our happy moments. We enjoy the happy moments when we get together.
