1.Predominate the four skills phrases : tell a story sing a song and listen read say write the important sentences : What are you doing? I’m telling a story.

2.Predominate the three skills phrases: play the guitar play the violin and listen read say write the important sentences : What is Li Yan doing? She’s singing a song.

3.The students can use the knowledge to say freely.

4.Use playing method and let students love life .

Preparation:Taper recorder , cards , picture , computer .

Teaching Procedures:

Step One:Warming up

1.Greet each other .

2.Write the words on the paper .

Step Two: Revision

1. Ask and answer together .

2. Recite the text together .

3. Say the words chant .

Step Three:Presentation

1. use cards and pictures to introduce the things with the sentences : What are you doing? I’m telling a story. What is Li Yan doing? She’s singing a song.

2. Practice the sentences freely .

3. Use pictures to learn the new phrases : play the guitar play the violin

4. Practice the new words and try to use the new words to introduces other persons .

5. Go on to use the words to make some sentences .

6. Use the words and sentences to make some dialogues in groups .

7. Act the dialogues together ,

8. Listen to the tape and chant following the tape . then learn the pronunciation / U / .

9. Give a task and say the new a dialogue, act the dialogue in groups..

10. Do some exercise on the exercise book .

11.Make a dialogue with the words and sentences in this lesson. Step Four: Homework

1.Write the four skill phases and sentences.

2.Practise to say dialogue freely.
