Unit 2 Cities Lesson 1 教学设计

一、教材内容分析

本课时的教学内容为A Look, listen and repeat, B Ask and answer, C Let’s write. A部分借助城市图片呈现五个目标词汇：city, street, sports centre, hotel, square，让学生通过看、听、说、做等途径来感知、理解并学习这些词汇。B部分通过对话活动，帮助学生操练词汇，并体会词汇在交际情景中的运用。C部分为让学生根据语境选择合适的词填空。

二、学生情况分析

四年级的学生通过第一单元的学习，学习了restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇；以及

across from, next to, between等表示方位的词汇；指路短语Turn left, turn right, go straight以及问路的功能句：Excuse me. Is there a … in the neighborhood? How can I get to …? Go straight and turn left at the first crossroads. It’s between the bookstore and the grocery. Thank you. You’re welcome.这些都为这节课的顺利学习打下基础。

三、教学目标

通过本节课的学习，学生能够达到以下目标：

1. 能够听懂、会说

city, street, sports centre, hotel, square等表示城市中常见场所的词汇，以及buy toys, see a film, go boating 等表示活动的短语，并尝试借助拼读规律记忆单词。

2. 能够询问某个场所的位置，并能描述某个场所的位置。

3. 能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇将句子补充完整，并且做到书写正确、规范。

四、教学重难点

教学重点：能够听懂、会说

city, street, sports centre, hotel, square等表示城市中常见场所的词汇，以及

buy toys, see a film, go boating 等表示活动的短语。

教学难点：询问某个场所的位置，并能描述某个场所的位置。

五、教学步骤

1.创设情境

热身（朗诵英文儿歌）

T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss Hou. T: Do you like reciting? Ss: Yes! T: Let’s read this poem.（点击课件）

设计意图：四年级的孩子们仍然喜欢游戏。通过角色扮演来朗诵诗歌的活动，复习以前学习过的有关本课的名词，激活学生以往的知识，同时在紧张愉快的氛围中让他们迅速进入学习英语的状态之中。

学生两人一组对话，班内展示，及时评价。

设计意图：由复习单词，词组到复习句子，其目的是为这节课做下铺垫。
