Step 1. Warm-up 1.

Greet. Students and teacher greet with each other.

T: Good morning, everyone.

Ss:Good morning, Ms Li. T: What’s the weather like today? Ss: It’s sunny. 2.

Review. (1) Teacher draws pictures about the weather and ask “What’s the weather like?”

eg. T: What’s the weather like?

S: It’s rainy/cloudy/sunny/snowy/windy.

(2) Choose someone answer the question. eg. T: What’s the weather like?

S1: It’s ... Step 2. Presentation 1.

Choose and say. (1)

Show the pictures about weather and ask. eg. T: What’s the weather like?

S1: It’s sunny. (2)

Show the pictures about playtime and ask. eg. T:Can you ride a bike?

S2: Yes, I can.

T: OK, let’s ride a bike. (3)

Listen and think “What do they do?”. (4)

Teacher makes an example.

Ss: What’s the weather like? T: It’s sunny. Let’s play football. (5)

“It's ...”,他们也能了解和表演故事,但问句“What's the weather like?”的发音对很多学生来说仍是很困难的,所以下次需加强对发音的练习。
